I doubt Michigan needed to cheat either, but they did it anyway. Why win by 7 clean when you can win by 17 dirty? More style points.

If this results in Michigan leaving the Big Ten (yes UM is that pissed off) will the remaining 13 still be gloating about this? Tear up that TV contract and give back the money. What if USC and others join them? I say again, UM (not just the athletic program) is mad enough to do this

This is the most damning. From what is being reported and what I read in the file. Seems like everyone was involved or at least knew.
UM is mad because they cheated and got caught? I would agree about due process here but they must have good enough reason to levy this penalty. But, MU got what amounts to a slap on the wrist at this time and they will leave the conference because of that?
Remarkably stupid sentiment. Michigan did a very dumb thing. Michigan got caught (although their actions were so flagrantly idiotic getting caught was inevitable) got a slap on the wrist and now they have to deal with it.
If your ego is so large that you would do something so enormously self-damaging as leaving the best, most affluent conference, well, buh bye.
