Tons of players pointing up, coaches, but Jim didn't know, lmfao.

I believe the NCAA does not control the playoff, so theoretically that wouldn’t be a big incentive for them, but they do have a history of making individual players ineligible for competition while eligibility issues are being resolved.I think it is applicable because if pro sports were weary and shy of affecting on field results, it's highly dubious that the NCAA will affect on field results. I think pro sports are more likely to be proactive handling things vs college so if they don't do it I wouldn't expect college to do it. Just look at helmet communication which has been done since the 90s in the NFL while college has just been diddling around.
Pros have dinged draft picks, given fines and banned people for a time period and that's off field stuff. If anything I'd expect similar analogous things for college like scholarship, financial hit and/or show cause.
That would be great. Send those arrogant pricks a message.I believe the NCAA does not control the playoff, so theoretically that wouldn’t be a big incentive for them, but they do have a history of making individual players ineligible for competition while eligibility issues are being resolved.
Basically, they don’t like a school or individual to continue to benefit from breaking the rules while the NCAA knows about it and is just confirming 100% that rules have been broken.
I think they will pass word to the B1G leadership of what they are finding, and if the word they pass is that this is serious and will eventually result in penalties, the B1G will announce that Michigan is ineligible for the conference championship game.
I’d be surprised if anything happens to them on the field this season with regards to the B10 champ game or CFP but we’ll see.I believe the NCAA does not control the playoff, so theoretically that wouldn’t be a big incentive for them, but they do have a history of making individual players ineligible for competition while eligibility issues are being resolved.

NCAA has banned teams from bowl games. True, that they are future games, but at least that was something compared to major pro sports.I’d be surprised if anything happens to them on the field this season with regards to the B10 champ game or CFP but we’ll see.
I don’t follow MBB but didn’t Kansas have some big violations and the penalties findings were released like a month or two ago and ended to mostly nothing happening.
There are times, you’ll get the stiff penalty but it’s not often imo and I can’t think of one that ever impacted a current season. Plus do you think an investigation will yield findings etc that quickly with like a month left in the regular season? They move at a snails pace, maybe slower lol.
I can see them getting Harbaugh with something or show cause. I don’t know how severe they will get with Michigan itself. Scholarships and financial penalties possibly. Bowl ban maybe but how much do people care if the bowl isn’t a part of the CFP. Players sit out of bowls as is these days. Plus there’s the NCAA feeling these days of not penalizing players for things they didn’t do.Harbaugh's problem is: he already served a suspension for multiple Level II infractions this year, is already under investigation for a Level I infraction (the lying to investigators), and now may be facing a different set of Level I and II infractions. That's a whole lot of dirt for the NCAA to allow to get swept under the rug. I believe there are even codified rules to follow in punishing coaches/programs with multiple instances of major violations in a given timeframe.
There hasn’t really been any precedent for something involving a whole team as one could argue this impacts.I can see them getting Harbaugh with something or show cause. Regardless, I don’t expect anything to happen this season with regards to the B10 champ game or the CFP. I’d be quite surprised if it did.
I’ve said above it wouldn’t surprise me if this is Harbaugh’s last season there one way or another.
Yup,I think the slow walk approach is smart. Where have I heard that tactic used before? On College Gameday they reported that someone reports they were hired to go to games and video by that suspended Michigan guy whose goal it was to one day be Michigan had coach.
Think they said over 35 games filmed, and at least 12 or 13 Big Ten opponents. Was wondering who they left out... and I think it is likely someone they were not going to play during these past years.
Goose is cooked, IMHO. But if I am Michigan I take UNC's tact.. sue us. If I am the BIg Ten.. it gets tougher.. if honor is a respected value.. you bring hammer down. If CFP eligibility and its money is more important.. you slow-walk this until you see who wins the big game. If OSU wins then you hammer Michigan and say No Rose Bowl... maybe no Big Ten bowl spot at all.
Next steps for an investigation.. interview every official who did Michigan games and see if any of them suspected sign-stealing during a game.. officials hear things. They know football.. they see and hear sudden audibles that turn out to be perfect moves. maybe they hear the defense calling out what play the offense will run. Also.. where there's one, there's more. Hiring one guy to film upcoming games means there is likely more than one guy who got hired. Find out how that guy got paid and then look for similar financial transactions from the suspect coach assistant.
I am going to disagree as to your last sentence. With um in position to secure a playoff spot for the conference even Delaney would be mum at this point. B1g has a shot at two teams again this year making the playoff and is not going to rock the boat. When the season is over petiti better speak up and open a league investigation.Amazing that this still needs to be explained.
It’s a pretty simple rule that Michigan appeared to break . It’s pathetic the BIG hasn’t commented. If Warren was still AD, this board would be killing him
Fair enough to disagree . But Warren got killed here for lessI am going to disagree as to your last sentence. With the deleting of tweets (though he doesn’t tweet much) feels like we are getting close to the final act here.anyone hearing Harbaugh scrubbing his twitter acct and BOR meeting?
oh and now they've got the ball boys in on it
per the rumor mill
michigan pulled the updated contract offer, BOR meeting and now we are hearing of a players only meeting. With the deleting of tweets (though he doesn’t tweet much) feels like we are getting close to the final act here.

The ball boy thing comes from a Forde article and its conflicting info. One coach from one B10 school warned another B10 school about ball boys listening on the sidelines and signaling pass or run. The school that was warned said they didn't see anything unusual the ball boys did.
From the article:
Multiple sources from one Big Ten school told SI that a coach at a different school called them before playing Michigan to warn them about Wolverines ball boys on their sideline listening to play calls and communicating information to the Michigan sideline—holding the football up in one hand to indicate an expected pass, and in the other hand to indicate a run, for instance. (Sources at the school that was warned said they experienced nothing in the game to implicate the Michigan ball boys.)
Also this from the article:
A Big Ten spokesman told SI last week that it “does not have a mechanism within our rules to protest the outcome of a game.” So it’s unclear what official recourse schools would have to challenge Michigan’s five conference wins this season (not to mention last year’s 10). But certainly commissioner Tony Petitti (4)—six months into his tenure—is hearing from a lot of unhappy schools.
Under Big Ten protocol, Petitti could propose penalties to an executive committee comprised of administrators from conference members. The committee would have the power to approve those penalties, lessen them or dismiss them.
MSU won the game 31-7 so doesn’t look like it helped if that was him.
In the comments, someone has posted other pics and the CMU guy has more hair. Who knows if it’s him or not for sure but have to take some of the internet rumors with grains of salt unless it’s reported by CFB media.
Here you go, now more main stream CFB media has mentioned it. Still think the CMU guy looks like he has more hair than Stalions but who knows. It’s crazy that it even comes to that haha.
The folks at mgoblog are pretty professional and wouldn’t just throw out confirmation that it’s him on a whim; doesn’t mean they’re right, but they must have a source who confirmed.
I don't get it. Why didn't the CMU people ask him who the hell he was? A guy with a pass.. fine.. but dressed like your staff?
Wondering if CMU DID know and Stallions.. if it is him.. offered his services for the day helping them know what Michigan State was going to do.

Yea I’ve seen that but unless Michigan’s hair club for men is really good or he’s wearing a wig I’m not sure it’s him. Would be crazy if he went to such lengths.
CMU has former Michigan staffers including the HC McElwain so it’s plausible he could get a sideline pass through one of them.
