What are you invested in that made a good deal of money that made your day not just a good day but a great day?
Not entirely sure because I pay someone to do it but think gains were mostly international and commodities. But alas, today is a new day and as of this message I’m down a few hundred k.

Added to amzn, google, nvda.

Started positions in PLTR and abbv.
I will add to my custom stock basket across the board before the close (maybe a little extra to a few holdings). Starting a new position with PLTR sounds like a good idea.

International and commodities were both down yesterday.

Unless you own a ton of Mexican stocks.
Like I said, I have no idea what I own. I always have subscribed to the idea of hire someone who knows what he’s doing and leave him alone to do his thing. Only reason I even looked those two days was because of what I was seeing here. It had been so long since I checked that I had to change my password because I couldn’t remember how to log in.

Joys of being with private client services with A list firms. Smart people navigate anything.

We might lurch into stagflation. This is Jimmy Carter territory, folks.

On a personal note, I try to keep the mentality of never selling, but damn the Trump Slump.

If your financial statements showed gains yesterday it appears you invested with someone trained by Bernie Madoff.

Hahahahahahahaha keep flailing away to try covering up how wrong you were in your post about Trump talking tariffs during his campaign.

blather on some more idiot:

Inflation cooled more than expected in February

Feb 2025 CPI fell to 2.8% from 3% in Jan '25. It's a reversal after four consecutive months of inflation heating up and is a step toward the Fed's target.
MSN

ooof so outta your lane (if you really have one PangoBro)
Makes sense then that we should use pre-Fed late 1800’s policy.😂

yep...that's the dilemma lol..that's the game.
I'm not talking about being out for long but just see this as a good way to get those gains and at lower overall taxes.. yes risk is there but the cash will be ready to move back in..
Will you wait to get back in until the tax advantage is fully materialized? It would seem you would need a further decrease by the tax Savings to offset the future increase in the taxable trade with the new purchase. And, who knows where tax rates will be in the future.
