What the F happened now? Bought in at $316. Time to buy more? :)

You should have bought HOOD with me. Already up about 60%!
What a piece of junk.

Down more then 50% is a month (or whatever it is).

Won't add more, and not selling just yet, but I'm close.

I normally set a 10% stop loss (based on the original CB). Didn't do it this time, but I will be watching closely. Most big companies have a DOJ issue, so it may only be a short-term news cycle issue. Not sure.

I know you are in the Pharma industry, but insurance companies and pharma companies are finally paying for the crimes they committed against the American public.

Pharma's big "crime" is saving lives and extending our life expectancy by decades. As for insurance companies, yeah, they are pretty much evil.

I don't think it's so much about "crimes" or "evil" but they like every other company is in the money making business, which can look unsightly given they are dealing with peoples healths.

But maybe to the op, they did get fat on gov't subsidizing health care and that fat looks to be getting cut.

In other news, core PPI dumped this month.
-0.44% MoM

PCE is going to be super light as well. You can calculate 80-85% of PCE via CPI and PPI.

Inflation? Where is it?

He’s in and out a ton though isn’t he?
Bought more UNH this morning. CB now down to $290. Climbed back to $274’ish by the close. I’m not that confident, but what the hell. It’s all FUD. The DOJ even if legit will take years to be resolved.

I genuinely can’t think of a worse marketing move than Elon doing what he’s done while trying to appeal to the EV market.

It honestly makes the Bud Light Dylan Mulvaney disaster look like child’s play.
You mean saving the country?

Guy is worth over $350B. He can afford to take risks. Telsa will be right back where it was. Already up 100 since it's low.

I wouldn't worry about Elon. And that Bud Light play will be studied for the next century in what not to do.

People could make a lot of money doing the opposite of your Telsa takes.
I posted that on 4/2 and Tesla was at 283. On 4/8 it hit 221. People can make money a lot of ways. I was actually just thinking about buying a put or short the stock.

Interesting rebalance for GRNY - Tom Lee's ETF. Info available on their website. 2 out and 5 in.

Dear Fundstrat Capital Community,

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025 the Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap ETF (Ticker: GRNY) executed a quarterly rebalance.

This rebalance reflects any updates to the Fund’s shorter-term and longer-term investment themes, and the companies that align with them. According to the Fund’s investment process, only securities linked to at least two identified themes are eligible for inclusion.

As a result, certain positions were added to or removed from the portfolio, and all holdings were rebalanced to equal weight, as outlined in the Fund’s prospectus.

A summary of the changes made during this rebalance is provided below:

Shorting Tesla seems like a crazy play based on emotional dislike of Elon.

Have you seen the Tesla robot lol?

Bought more today as well…may take some time but think it will return triple digits eventually(at the 250 level where I bought today).

Let’s think logically here… who buys EV’s? MAGA’s or Prius owners?

The mental gymnastics are insane to rationalize what’s so obviously in front of us.

Please be sure to bring this same energy come the next earnings call👍🏾

Everyone is now buying them. He just opened up the “maga” market. Hell I bought one and didn’t even need a car lol.

Use your head. A completely new market was opened up. Even King Trump bought one lol

Bought some as well, and CB higher at $298. Not that confident either, but never am when buying after a big drop. But I’ve had more winners than losers when following this strategy.

As mentioned above, I think this will pay off with a little patience. But definitely a trade, not long hold.

I also started loading up on GLD futures for another run. It's dipped below $3200 on its way to $4000 and beyond. :)
