I am truly looking forward to seeing a movie called "Bottoms." It is another comedy with Elizabeth Banks as a producer. Marshawn Lynch makes a cameo in it, and the trailer suggests he has more than a couple of good lines. Here is the trailer: It came out via theatrical release (no streaming), and then only in select theaters. So I have yet to see it, even though it apparently came out in August.
Has there been much talk about The Holdovers, Alexander Payne? His better movies are excellent, and this film seems to have a promising premise, boarding school over winter break. He did teenage angst very well in The Descendants. Well his films always bear watching, he’s never boring and he uses good actors.
Julia, M. Ali, Hawke, and some Bacon. Interesting to say the least.
Only for the cast... okayyy, ya got me, sucker for a David and Goliath storyline.
One more -- out on Netflix now. I like Chris Evans. Seems like a normal person.
Strong Being John Malikovich/Eternal Sunshine…type vibes. Excellent cast - Carmy and Jesse Buckley who is maybe the best young actress working today. Will see this.

He’s been in a bunch of stuff but never really as a lead in a big project. Will star in the new Marvel movie as Kraven The Hunter. Really good actor - best known for marrying a woman 23 years older than him and his abs….definitely continuing the ‘jacked’ version of Bond if cast.

Forgot he was the lead in Kick ***. But first film had Nic Cage and Chloe Grace Moretz had the better part in both.
Equalizer 3 was pretty good. Can’t wait for dune part 2. Napoleon looks awesome.

Yeah, Loki is a bit schizo. Finished Fall of the House of Usher, good show strings together Poe tales into a family structure. “Succession” of horror.
