Gonzaga without best player since loses a 50/50 game to a P4 disappointment to end the season have to wonder if Few will ever get a title. As for sean Miller a sweet 16 appearance salvages a ho hum season. Another first four to 2nd weekend.
Gonzaga was over seeded especially with the injury. They lost to Portland State and got destroyed by Michigan. I was surprised they were not a 5 or 6 like UNC with their injury. You are right about Few. Do you think going to the new PAC 10 does anything for them for Few together a title?
I would take being in the first four and a double digit seed over a 7-10 seed any day

Hoping Iowa is big upset tonight. I don’t really vibe with Florida and wish Houston beat them last year in the final.
Also really feel Nebraska is time I might choose to root for so hopefully they can extend for one more round and pull upset against Florida but looking at their lack of defense…… they seem super fun and think they can turn that program into a respectable basketball school under Hoiberg, but don’t like their extreme lack of athleticism and defense.
I feel Florida will just believes above Vanderbilt, but hope Nebraska and be a little Cinderella that tournament needs.
If I bet on another Cinderella kind of hope Tennessee can make a surprise run but they are always sweet 16 or elite eight.
I feel they always have fun teams but Barnes can never get them to truly be elite.

Shocked Malachi Smith hasn’t been better for them. Thought that was an underrated great get during the offseason. Most teams cannot get a redshirt senior that played as much and as well as him at a school like Dayton to come the last year to fill a backup PG role.
Nebraska certainly isn’t the most athletic group, but they were top 10 Kenpom in defense I believe.
What an absolutely tremendous job by Iowa State, their HC and players. You lose your best player going up against a team as talented as Kentucky -- granted without two of their best and perhaps their 2 most important players -- and come away with a convincing victory to get to the Sweet 16. Third time in 5 years for TJ O. If Carolina opened, I would throw the kitchen sink at trying to get him.

Iowa state vs. michigan in elite 8 is going be great matchup if they meet. Especially if Iowa state gets Jefferson back. Arizona and Illinois are two more very good teams.
