That is correct, he left for a football school and could not stay an extra night in NYC at the holidays. Ironic. He realized things in the football world are not what he dreamed they would be.
Cooley jumped to Georgetown. I think he would have been able to land a job at a football school for sure.
All I am saying is that not every coach is going to jump from a Big East school immediately when a football school comes calling for a variety of reasons, including many mentioned by all the posters on this thread.
We have a poor season, the sky is falling and we can never compete.

I understand the realities of Seton Hall's place in the market over the years, but I think it's place has improved immeasurably over those same years and certainly from last year when Pitino and everyone in the media were referencing our poor NIL situation nearly every game.
