Good win on the road. No slip ups is just as important as big wins. Judging by the box score we didn’t even play that well. Very positive signs.

Take care of Rutgers and we’ll have a legitimate shot at the tourney

Ugly win but take it. Any road win is big. Sha was shocked when he heard KState took 35 foul shots. Would have been a different game if they didn't miss 20 free throws!

Our defense got TOs and points off TOs that were the difference in the game. 22 points off 16 TOs were huge in a game where our halfcourt offense wasn't efficient.

After the T and the back to back fouls on Haggerty, they gad 6 team fouls with 13:20 left, they weren’t called for another until 5:09 left. Eight mins when they called 7 on Seton Hall. They did everything to get KS back in the game. With 20 missed FTs, it didn’t work.

So, it was the game within a game. Our perimeter defense was good until the very end. Guys made plays when needed, but they left so much on the table. So, a good deal of room for improvement yet we could not really ask for more at this point. I have a good deal of respect for K-State, but one of the all-time most embarrassing performances you will ever see at the free throw stripe.

The PBP guy was brutal. And not just because he came off as a Big 12 homer. But his constant unprofessional criticism of the refs and the whistles hurting K State made him sound like Phil Rizzuto doing a Yankee broadcast. That and the multiple mistakes he made doing the game.

I understand if you have an allegiance to a team or conference you cover, but you don't let it effect a game you are doing on a neutral site like ESPN.

Welsh is usually a great listen. But not yesterday and I blame that on the PBP guy.

There were about 3 plays in the game where after a Kansas State error the PBP guy actually groaned in disappointment.

If he was doing a Big 12 broadcast, I still wouldn't have liked it, but at least I could understand it. But not on ESPN.

I very seldom complain about broadcasters in any sport but this duo was brutal and made the game hard to watch. I had to watch the final 12 minutes of the game on Mute and it was much more enjoyable.

The factual errors, the lopsided homerism and the inability to understand or explain what was happening in the game made it a tough watch.
