excellent , forgot the student ratio on campus numbers . Travel to the Pru is no picnic. Live most of the time outside US but other part in Fl, last week saw a magnificent Monteverde Academy coach bus on Rt 75 with a slew of nschool busses behind it. Thought,,, Hmnn good way to get kids to an away game. How are we seriously trying to compare Rutgers student turnout to us.
Rutgers
On campus - limited travel to arrive
No cost to park
Tickets are free
Seton Hall
Not on campus - logistics to travel not easy. Wait for a bus or find a car when it’s hard ri even have one on campus.
cost to park Tickets- $25-30
Cost of ticket - $15
This is not an apples to apples comparison.
Yes but other schools have more students to fill the seats, and they do recruit more freshmen. We are in the minority when it comes to roster turnover and filing almost completely with with transfers.if other schools had that reaction i would agree.
Do most colleges charge students for tickets. I can see how big state schools can give out tickets for free but is that case with other schools like Nova, and other Big East schools. How are we seriously trying to compare Rutgers student turnout to us.

I don’t think that was said at all.And didn't someone, ?Feltons Jumper?, say that we also charge students to take the busses to the Rock? If true that's mind bogglingly stupid on our part.

Rutgers fan here. I might attend tonight's game. Will there empty seats near the court that I could slip into? Never been to a Seton Hall home game before. How are we seriously trying to compare Rutgers student turnout to us.

I want to go there. Cause that is where SHU is playing. Never an issue in Nwk.people really aren't putting enough emphasis on the fact nobody really wants to go into freaking newark and back. especially if the team stinks.
doesn't matter car uber or bus.
if ur a student it matters. i wasn't talking about non students.I want to go there. Cause that is where SHU is playing. Never an issue in Nwk.
I would guess for a student it might matter less? Who knows…….if ur a student it matters. i wasn't talking about non students.
it's inconvenient in a few ways. 20 mins each way quickest is inconvenience for them. especially if they're drinking and taking the bus. students have to get from their office campus house to the rec.I would guess for a student it might matter less? Who knows…….
And the swim team tooWhere are the lobsters???? That was a good student section during those Willard years. Bring them back!
Why? i am a 72 yr OLD man, they are in the prime of there life, and around the arena on gameday is not at a scary place to be.if ur a student it matters. i wasn't talking about non students.
omg. didnt realize all those obstacles. they have to leave where they are and then travel to where they want to go?it's inconvenient in a few ways. 20 mins each way quickest is inconvenience for them. especially if they're drinking and taking the bus. students have to get from their office campus house to the rec.
you can deny all you want but the fact of the matter is we have a hard getting students to go. the proof is right there
Always brings a smile to my face when her name is mentioned. She was such a treasure.i remember the late Mrs Ade asking me to take a few extra free tickets back in the day and try to give them to some friends.
for a while, the students did a good job
That's just not true. Probably less NJ residents attending than at any time in the history of the school.More and more jersey and ny residents = more kids going home on the weekends, they may dorm on campus but really only here 4 days a week
Excuses. It's free and it's down the road 20 minutes.I think Hall is Life nailed it. Transportation to & from The Rock is the main issue for those who live on campus. The cost of parking is the main issue for those who don't.
