That's not what you said...

Don't talk to me about living in a ghetto. If Blacks are so perpetrated against by whitey.. what do you think it feels like to be a white 18-year old surrounded by Blacks? Think I'm accepted? Think I was liked and respected? Being white in an all-black community isn't a walk in a park.

I guess welcome to the life of black men in this country.... sorry your life wasn't a walk in a park....but welcome to the life of my wife and her brothers...

Not today sir. I will not allow you to derail this conversation with your absurd, close-minded, half cocked dribble. Do you have any comments on why a law enforcement officer shot a man for following his orders? Do you have any comments on the fact that the police then detained his girlfriend? Do you have any comments on why the cop kept his weapon drawn and watch a man bleed out? Do you have any comments on how heinous it is that a young child had to experience this all? If not, respectfully, shut up.

We have maybe 10-20 instances of police officers who unjustifiably kill black people each year. That 10-20 too many and those cops should be prosecuted. However, you and your ilk just want to focus on those few deaths because it fits your race narrative. You don't give a damn about the greater tragedy regarding black murders by the thousands because they weren't victims of racism.

I would appreciate it greatly if we did not continue to interact via this message board.

Sure thing. Just keep ignoring dead blacks and focus on that .0001%.

Seriously, everything you're doing is working out beautifully.

Really. It is.

And that's really all it is. They get to play "good white guy" and "poor black victim". There's only one reason to ignore the real problem for these types, and it's self centered and evil.

Without justification? So you think the cops should take a bullet if a guy that has refused an order, and has a weapon tries to grab it? Look, citizens have a responsibility in these situations too, you can't put it all on the cops when a dumbass who has a weapon acts like a fool.

The guy in Minnesota looks bad on the part of the cops, but again, we don't see the actions leading up to the shooting, just the aftermath. In the video she stated he was reaching for his ID, now she's saying he had his hands up.

No her story is still the same. The cop asked for I'd. The man said I'm getting my wallet and also told officer he has a gun but he also has his concealed carry permit....the officer said stop moving.....the man stopped going for his wallet and went to put both hands up and was then shot 4 times.

Y'all still can't just straight up say the cop screwed up....it's "let's wait for more details...we only see the aftermath.....give me a damn break dude....there is no silver lining that's gonna come out and save this cops ***....hell Facebook and Twitter have multiple pictures of the car with working tail lights, which was the entire reason for the stop to begin with.... good thing the woman kept her cool. How she did I have no idea or else shed probably be dead too. And he kept the gun pulled on her and watched the dude bleed to death? Really?

You see what you want to see and if that doesn't do it for you you don't see at all. I understand you believe all black men should do as they are told or be shot to death and all black women a lying hoes. You want all cops to be innocent till proven guilty and all black men shot dead if they don't do as they are told, you are ridiculous.

When people (white, black, purple, green) see a video of two large police officers holding down a suspect and then one of the officers takes his gun out and shoots the guy 3-4 times point blank in the chest... they've seen enough. That's enough to see.

When you attempt to explain away the obvious and parcel and pick out things to try and make that acceptable then you lose all credibility.

Black people are seeing yet one more black man held down by police and executed. Then they look around and see that being defended.

Some things just have to be called out as wrong immediately. Not imprisoned wrongfully or convicted without due process, but just say "what I see on that video is indefensible" because it is. So say it. We can do that.

If things surface later or whatever happens we will deal with that when the time comes. But right now, to me, every American that cares about having a decent law enforcement community should be able to say THAT IS NOT RIGHT so as to lend credibility at the most basic level and that IMO could calm some of the outrage.

Did you seriously just use facebook and twitter as evidence? What happened before the video, exactly each detail? You seem to think I'm giving the cop a pass because I'm not carrying a pitchfork, I'm not.
Are you saying we should lynch the cop right now? Are you absolutely certain the man did exactly as she stated?

You want to make everything about race, and then you want to call people who disagree with you racist, I don't give a **** if your wife is black, I grew up with a mother that was married to a black man in an all white county in the 80's, so don't sit there and tell me what I do and don't know.

You are as much of the problem now as anything, and don't even realize it. There are cops that abuse their power, more crimes are committed by black people, there are white people that are racist, there are black people that play the victim bit, but the whole GD world does not revolve around those things.

It's hard to feel the same sympathy, when in the last 24 hours, 5 blacks were killed in a black on black crime, and no one but the families care. Heck, I'm not even sure the families of the parties involved care as much as they do about a white officer killing a black man. How am I supposed to care about a somewhat-unjustified killing of a black man.. when it happens 10x a day? Because the other side of the gun was a white man? Because he wore a badge?

Face it, Black Live Matter, only matters if they are killed by someone who isn't black. How can you expect outside parties to care about this when the AA community doesn't even care about their own lives?

Oh okay good, that's what I thought. Because the last time I saw someone twist themselves into a pretzel trying desperately to justify something was my buddy trying to tell me how it was the teacher's fault his kid got a C in math class.

In order to have credibility you have to call things fair and square. Trayvon Martin was horseshit. Totally invented. That kid was in commission of a violent felony assault when he was killed justifiably. Media showed childhood pictures of Trayvon in his football uniform from when he was 13 years old. And those of us that are not rubes know exactly what ingredients Trayvon was buying for his purple drank, too. That is a BS case from the get-go.

Same thing for the fat bully that just came from a strong armed robbery in St. Louis...

What I HATE is that frauds like that cover up the genuinely disturbing ones like Sandra Bland, a young lady that was pulled over for an illegal lane change and ultimately killed because some cop thought he could make her put her cigarette out in her own car.

So if you want legitimacy, then speak with integrity.

That was pretty good. Do the part about the suspect being a felon with a concealed gun in a open carry state, don't leave out the suspects history including resisting arrest.
Just to be clear, the cops did not have any history on this guy. They were responding to a call, but had no info on the suspect. So, the reason you leave out his history is that the cops had zero idea of what it was.

Black people account for 93 percent of all murders against black people. White people account for 84 percent of all murders of white people. THERE IS NO BLACK-ON-BLACK CRIME EPIDEMIC. The numbers are extremely close. Based upon the sheer amount of people in America, white people kill FAR more white people that black folks kill blacks, if we are talking numbers only. It is unfathomable to me that people continue to push this narrative. I'm sure there will be some point to refute this but oh well. I really don't want to take it to this place but you cant continue to talk about a black crime problem (that you really don't care about) and completely omit any other facts.

I didn't say that. I said they didn't have a history on the guy. I was responding to the poster that said, "don't leave out the suspects history including resisting arrest." The cops knew nothing about this guys history when they arrived. They knew he had confronted someone with a weapon, but they did not know his history including resisting arrest.

There is not enough information/video evidence for me to feel either way about the incident. The poster I quoted brought up in 2 posts about his history. I wanted to make it clear that the cops did not know any of his history when they arrived.

Everybody knows the call was for brandishing. He's saying the cops didn't have/know the criminal history of the suspect as he was not identified and a criminal history ran prior to the cops showing up.

It was caught on video, so it would've been a big deal anyway. It's way bigger because the victim was black and on the heels of another unnecessary killing of a black man.

If a cop does wrong and a camera captures the wrongdoing, then it becomes a story.

And if you don't get that "Black Lives Matter" really means "Black Lives Matter, too" then I don't know what to tell you. It's not about saying white lives or police lives don't matter. It's about not having to be scared of losing your life from law enforcement or anyone else simply because of the color of your skin. That **** is really happening today in 2016, and if you don't see it, you aren't looking hard or unbiased enough.

If Black Lives Matter then the African American community should stop killing each other.

No sir, you do not understand stats. It is very simple to look up census data on how many white/black people are in America. It is also fairly simple to pull up crime stats from 2014 see the amount of white people murdered and factor it out for the 84 percent. Same for the number with black folks.

No, you simply said 84% of whites are killed by whites, and 93% of blacks are killed by blacks and that given the vast population difference between the 2 races you concluded that whites kill far more people.
That is simply not correct, and has been pointed out to you several times already.

Of all murders blacks commit 52.5%, and whites 45.3 % thats of EVERY murder, not just what race or gender was killed. So of every 10 murders in the US over 5 of them are committed by blacks, who as you just posted are a much smaller portion of the population.

I understand what you're saying and that works if your trying to justify the cops actions. I am merely saying that it never would have happened if the felon wouldn't have been committing another crime (carrying a firearm, that he wasn't even carrying legally if he weren't a felon) to begin with.

Probably so she has evidence in case she is murdered for unbuckling her seat belt or some other threatening movement by a black person. Yet, they can take in mass murdering white folks without killing them. It can be done.

These cops are just trigger happy because they know ultimately they have little accountability. I'll be waiting on pins and needles for the NRA to discuss how outraged they are that people are getting killed for expressing their 2nd amendment rights. White people can carry their guns openly in the middle of the street but a black man can't even get out a license without being shot in front of their family.

Tell us again how blacks are not targeted by police and that it's just a fantasy. Makes you wonder how many were killed before cellphone cameras.

Gonna be a record year for both people killed by police and people incarcerated. No, no police state here. It's time to burn this mother to the ground.

This has all been discussed before but blacks commit more crime/violent crime than whites. It is a well known fact that blacks hate cops. More whites are killed by cops than blacks. You ststing that blacks are targeted to be killed by cops is ludicrious. There is more accountability now on cops than ever before.

I'm not justifying anything. I 100% agree that the altercation would not have happened if the original altercation that was called into 911 didn't happen. That alone does not justify what happened. As I said in another post, I am neutral at this time because all of the video and evidence has not been put out. Maybe it was a justified shooting, maybe it was not. Time will tell.

You can quote every statistic ever uttered or calculated and nothing will justify what is on that video of two cops holding down a man and killing him like a dog. Some things should just be called for what they are even if it is difficult or inconvenient.

It's more common among white people, it seems, to dehumanize criminals and just assume they had what's coming to them. Seems to be a much broader acceptance among white people that if a cop harms you, it was your fault and you deserved it. I don't think the problem is black people taking up for criminals. I think the problem is white people thinking "criminals" have lost their humanity and their right to due process, and accepting police as judge, jury, and executioner. So when white people are killed by police (275 this year in the US), other white shrug and figure he had it coming.
