Texas/Purdue game was awesome. Sean Miller did a terrific job getting this team to the Sweet 16 with a chance to beat Purdue, but he might beat himself up about having Swain as his "big" to deal with a possible offensive rebound at the end of that game. Interested to hear his thought process.

Man, the level of skill and athleticism in this Arkansas Arizona game is high level. And Acuff hasn't even gone wild yet.

Watching Houston is like watching St. John's the last two years. But Illinois holding their own on the glass so far it seems.

Maybe busy day at work and wish huskers but annoyed with these games.

I kind of want Houston to win and Purdue game was great but I wasn’t really feeling it.

I just wan a competitive game, even 6-8 with under two minutes left.

And I loved Houston last year but most of the time their offense always is so frustrating to watch. Honestly so similar to us but tbh someone like Simpkins and
Hines can at least get to the rim or post up compared to these guys.

They need to feed sharpe more. I have loved his shooting over the years and can score in other ways at times as well.

I told y'all so many times on the old forum that fred hoiberg is a **** coach. Of course he showed his true colours when it mattered most and on nebraska's biggest stage.

It was a blunder in a horrible spot to have that happen, no doubt.

But Hoiberg has now rebuilt two high majors, and this year took a team picked towards the bottom of the Big 10 preseason to the Sweet 16, advancing to a place that program never gets to. One awful mistake doesn’t negate any of that.

Nobody is talking about the refs in this game? They only called like 20 toal fouls in the game. Should they have warned Hoigberg? A game where they just let them play which is always questioned here.?

Guys, a good coach, with all the experience he has, doesn't do that on the biggest stage. Amateur hour. It's ridiculous how people have been trying to elevate this guy like he walks on water.

First half was going too well for SJU so the refs decided to give a phantom second to Hopkins with like 8 minutes remaining.

He had a .67 winning percentage at ISU which was dormant prior to his arrival. He has won 20 games at Nebraska the last 3 years, a completely irrelevant cbb program.

You’re criteria for what constitutes a good coach is ridiculous. No one here is even saying he’s elite. Its indisputable the guy is a good coach.

Dude this sucking off St Johns and UCONN is annoying. I don't get this obsession rooting for conference teams left because it should "vindicate" the conference. UCONN won in 2024 and looks at what has happened since then. Big east has won 4 natties in the last 10 years but SEC and ACC have been trying to bully us no matter what vastly putting their mid 17-19 win teams over our 20-23 win teams. They can't stand schools love basketball more than precious CFF that is vastly inferior to CBB.

I don't want to put my energy into rooting for rivals and have screwed us anyway like St Johns that have stolen our players and impacted chances at the tournament.

I actually like UCONN and that would be my BE team but I;m not rooting for anyone religiously especially if I don't really like them. And I kind of want Izzo to have more chances at a possible natty as well.

SJU doesn't have one useful guard on the entire team. I wouldn't take one of their guards over any of ours. They can't shoot, can't drive, can't create. Don't get steals. Totally useless. How SJ is competitive is incredible because their guards are complete zeroes. NO WAY Pitino brings back Sellers and Sanon, and each is probably make a million this year.

I mean the last look had something to be desired but there is only a few seconds left. Kids hit huge shots all year and made a bunch tonight. They lost the game because Duke is better than them.
Yea they lost because Evans DEFINITELY has the makings of a NBA athlete. Boozer the big one couldn't be stopped inside either. Not enough feeding Zuby, not enough getting to the line, no contributions from their guards.

It's not that complicated actually. The success of the conference is vital for Seton Hall.

All year, maybe. Not tonight.
I hear you. They went punch for punch and couldn’t believe how well they shot from 3 although so many were wide open because Duke wanted to take away the paint.

Duke was 1 defensively on Kenpom and top 10 on offensive on Kenpom. There is a reason they were the overall 1 seed and 6.5 favorites.

He bricked a few before that and has been horrid from downtown during this tournament and prior to that.

UConn has to carry the torch now. No doubt Pitino is already making calls tonite to upgrade his guards for next year. Shaheen would HATE coaching those kids Seller and Sanon

Those kids played their absolute a$$es off for a top 10 defensive team that plays as hard as any team plays. I’m sure Sha would have no problem coaching them.

Speaking of guards, Michigan is pulling away here but the Philion kid on Bama is something else. He is unguardable at the college level.

St johns issue can't play prey zuby Bryce together because you would get killed on defense but they were the most effective offensive players for them

I'm talking specifically about Sanon and Sellers. Both are horrible, can't drive the basketball, can't guard or turn the ball over, and on top of that rarely hit jump shots. Sha would hate coaching those kids. Guaranteed. I'd take Simpkins and McCray over either. Probably Williams too.
