Just quit.
You too. I know a lot of folks on this board dont sit with me on how I may not have fired him and I do put how far we have fallen this season on Gee's shoulders, but its moot anyway. If I say "thanks Gee" its no different than you saying "thanks Huggins". What we can do is look forward to the next hire. WVU, thanks to Huggins for winning good, and fundraising on his own time to upgrade the facilities, is a very attractive place for a coach. We should have no problem landing a really good coach.

Seriously why dont you just go read the 100,000 posts about this exact same topic with people posting the exact same garbage. I have answered your question 100 times already in other threads, probably directly to you, responding to almost the exact same post as above lol. What is really the point? If you are burning to know the answer to that question, go read my post history.

The thing is, he's fired. You should be happy about that. He got what he deserved in your mind, so you win. I personally may not have fired him, and if I did it wouldn't have been at 3am before his court date was even set and the ink was drying on his police report. But God forbid, I have forgiveness in my heart and mind -oh wait. God wants us to have that, nevermind, bad point. "But disgruntled WVU fan forbid" that I like to forgive, and may have actually let him keep his job provided he cleaned up his act. I know that wouldve ruffled your feathers, but I can live with that. The thing is, it didnt happen. WVU nation gets to live through your way. Its awesome too, yay. Everyone wants to be the face when an authoritarian cuts his nose off to spite his face. Its fun being the face.

I'm not happy about it. I'm unhappy that a 69 year old man already on thin ice, regardless of how you or I feel about the merits of that thin ice, did something so egregiously stupid. And I have read a fair amount of the posts on this subject including you always placing the blame primarily on Gee and Asslop when Huggins could've avoided the whole thing by not acting like a piece of garbage. Whether admin were unfairly trying to set a trap for him or not, Huggins is the one who walked right up to the obvious trap, given the ultimatum he received after calling f@gs f@gs, and placed his own nuts directly in it. And he did so despite the program and all the people with a stake in it depending on him as a leader to NOT sabotage his position.

Why dont you stfu about it? I dont give a rats *** about hearing you rehash your opinion another 100 times, and I'm not bothering myself with reading your post except the first line. I disagree with almost every take you have on it and I will not change my mind about it.

Not a single thing that transpired after Huggins got arrested was something he did. Remember in grade school, when the teacher would punish or threaten to punish the whole class because of one kid who was acting out? That is what this feels like, except its not a class full of kids. There were lots of ways this could be handled. They chose the one that would be the hardest on everyone else involved. No matter how you look at it, that reality is true. Now we just have to deal with a throwaway season, which sucks because WVU fans love their bball. The good thing is, well nothing, except next season will be different.

Prove me wrong then. Over half the WVU fan base didnt want him fired in the first place.
I would say you're the one that needs to prove the over half didn't want him fired. They had been asking for his head for the past 5 years of I'm going to fix it quotes.

Huggins has nobody to blame but himself for his actions. He knew the consequences and failed.

I'm basing this on polls that I saw on twitter and facebook. Every one I saw, even the ones with over 10,000 votes, more people wanted Huggs not to be fired than to be fired. In fact, even with people having time to see how bad we suck this year, asnd the anger over what Huggs did fester, there was another poll within the last week and it still favored him being "hired back" by little bit. But its all moot. The morning after he got arrested, before a lot of people even had breakfast yet, the decision was set in stone. It was done, that fast. If you think thats a sign of good leadership, thats your opinion. I'll keep mine...

Yeah because polls on message boards are so accurate.

Polls on social media that have a lot of votes can show a lot about how a base of people feel about a given topic. There was even an online petition, and it had a buttload of sigs. Dont underestimate the power of a buttload

🤣 sure thing. Cause like liberals in an election year I'm sure people only voted once.

As ridiculous as it is, those poles on Twitter you can only vote once, and they are probably a lot more secure and believable than American elections these days. It doesn't matter anyways because it's just all opinion. The facts are what they are. They fired Huggins and half the team left. We didn't have enough time to hire a good replacement.

Yet we are here because you have for the 101st time made sure to insinuate that WVU admin bears most of responsibility for this season going to crap as opposed to Huggins himself by his actions. You do genuinely think that, because if not you'd simply say and it is obvious since I have ran rhetorical circles around your weak attempts to deflect from this position.

Your reasoning here is no different than ******** who think a cop who gets too aggressive, and wrongly so even, in an arrest is MORE in the wrong than a repeat offender who committed another crime that made the interaction with a cop necessary in the first place.

Here endth the lesson.

You are funny lol. It's OK man. I know you love yourself. You probably read your post 100 times by now to stroke your own ego. I personally think you are a fool, on this topic anyway. End of story

On twitter you can also have as many profiles as you choose to have. Please continue with your delusions.

Oh goody Rootmaster shows his other profile. Congrats teacher.
Ok, Dave. :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: Sorry to disappoint, but I'm a one-user poster. Unlike you.

I just pointed out how when calling someone dumb, it really hurts your case when you misspell something.

What part of here endth the lesson do you not understand? You are such a disingenuous tool if you can not recognize that you were the one beating the dead horse which is why this whole rehash happened. At least I will clearly state my position rather than you dancing around your position that those providing the punishment are more at fault than guy who committed the easily avoidable giant **** up which made punishment necessary in the first place.

This is literally one of the dumbest posts I tihnk I've ever read. Your first sentence lmao!!! Do you always talk like that? Wtf is your issue lol... I've read your homo position a bunch of times already, and you have read mine. All you are trying to do is keep an argument going because you are a self-important clown. No one cares about what you think, except you. I certainly don't. Move along little man.
