Agree, Dan. We are trending down, while Johnnie's looking like the top 10 team folks predicted. We need to find a consistent inside and perimeter game. Lately, we have neither. We've won with a rag tag defense and come-from-behind heroics that won't cut it anymore. Didn't work vs Butler at home, a team not predicted for the tourney. We keep this up and we won't be an NIT team. This one could get ugly. Both team are trending in different directions at this point. The only way I see it relatively close is if SJU takes us lightly.

Here's our winnerI think that Sha + company will break recent form and NOT fall behind in the latter part of 1st half and early 2nd. BUT.... will fall in a close one..... Pirates fall short..... 70 - 65.
Sure wish they proved me wrong, but they did show they were the better team for 30 minutes...... just not the last 10 minutes. It was a good rock 'em sock 'em Big East game with all the players from both teams seemingly "dialed in". Pirates didn't play well with the lead. We've got things to work on but all is not lost. Credit St John's though, they exceeded our intensity those last 10 minutes and prevailed.........by the skin of their noses. Here's our winner
