Ouch. Prob right. U can teach defense. If u cant shoot or score u prob dont have enough time to learn it
There's no doubt about it. If you can't score you can only go so far. I really wonder what our coach thinks about this. IMO until he changes his focus we'll never reach our potential.
Now I understand scorers cost more now. But you have to spend to maximize your results.

Even if we could simply become an average shooting offense to pair with the defense. Weāre not asking for be a juggernaut or something unreasonable.
Without Kadary Richmond this is a mess. Even with 10 new players itās a mess!

I do think this current team will improve. While not tap talent thereās better talent than this output in shooting. Theyāre in such a slump that itās now more than simple correction. But the way heās calling plays again and slowing pace worries me.

With a great defense, most of the time, you're in the game in the last 2 minutes or so.

What is ironic is defense is all about attitude and drive, and if there ever was a coach that could get kids to play D, it would be Sha. He absolutely needs to put aside some money for a bucket getter next year.
Of course he wouldn't, because he's clueless when it comes to that part of the game. Mind boggling stuff for a guy who is the ALL TIME assists leader at the school he coaches.
It wonāt matter if he recruits them, heāll never have the stomach to actually play them.
Coach still believes that freshmen need to earn their stripes! I wonder if Hines gets more than 12 minutes today.
Agree with your sentiment, but there are plenty of coaches that get kids to play D. Including talented offense first players. Sampson, Izzo, Pitino, Hurley and go down the list.
