LSU offers Texas 4-star commit Aeryn Hampton
LSU has extended an offer to one the best players from the Lone Star State in Daingerfield (Texas) four-star wide receiver and Texas commit Aeryn Hampton.
Hampton is the No. 24 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the fourth-best player from the state of Texas after Duncanville (Texas) four-star linebacker Colin Simmons, Temple (Texas) Lake Belton four-star wide receiver Micah Hudson and Willis (Texas) four-star cornerback DJ Lagway

Hampton is one of two commits in the 2024 Longhorns recruiting class along with Aledo (Texas) cornerback Jaden Allen. LSU has zero commits in the 2024 class.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $40k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
