FanDuel Sportsbook has released some new odds for USC football games after the team’s Spring Game this past weekend.

The lines are for two road games, including the rivalry matchup with Notre Dame. The line for the game against the Fighting Irish on October 13 is EVEN.

The Trojans are also 14.5-points favorites over Arizona State on September 23.

Head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans are feeling good after their spring practices. One thing Riley talked about with the media is how happy he has been with the performance of the program’s transfers.

“We’ve been pleased. We feel like we’ve landed on the right guys, the right kind of players, (and) right kind of people,” Riley said after the Spring Game. “And I give all the guys that have come in a lot of credit because it’s a little different than coming in last year. Last year they (had) a little bit of blind faith with us. These guys got to see a little bit last year about what we were about. And they wanted to come in and be a part of, not now establishing, but building on the standard and taking this team where we want to go.”

USC has the best odds among Pac-12 schools to win the national championship

USC also has the fifth-best odds of any program at this moment to win the national championship at +1600. Two-time defending champion Georgia is the favorite at +220. Alabama is next at +500, followed by Ohio State a +700 and then Michigan at +1000.

Caleb Williams is also the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. The 2022 winner has +400 odds to take home the award once again. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis are all tied for second at +1200. North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye and Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman are next at +1500.

Only once in history has there been a repeat Heisman Trophy winner: Ohio State running back Archie Griffin in 1974 and 1975.

The Buckeyes won the Big Ten conference both seasons — and all four years Griffin was on campus — and played in the Rose Bowl. But they were never named national champions in any of those seasons.

Only one USC player — Matt Leinart — has won the Heisman Trophy and national championship in the same season.
