Constantly changing their mission as a football program has to be exhausting for the average fan. What a joke to go out and hire a mid-major coach and not have the resources to put behind it. He's so far behind on the recruiting trail, he better be a top 5 coach in terms of scheme and development if they want any semblance of a top 40 team next season and beyond.

How many times did some of us say that they were making a huge mistake with over-investment in front loaded deals to sign/retain a handful of players?
They have a really signficant issue now in that they simply don't have the rev share cap to compete on retaining a core roster, or HS recruiting. There's a very good reason their HS recruiting is in the toilet - they are having to underbid vs far more successful schools like Alabama.

Aren’t performance based NIL deals illegal? Whether it’s a collective or not I thought no performance incentives were allowed
