Your first question is kinda rhetorical when talking about lolstate players.

Didn’t even click on the article but this is 3-4 times this year about a players “strong message”, starting w the players meeting after the third game (huge red flag and said it at that time). This shows that there is no culture or leadership set by the coaching staff.

I appreciate lolstate and dook doing their best this year to bring some good old fashioned hate back to these rivalries.

Lol, Wilson going for 40/20 if they play NCSt in the ACCt. I have a feeling he's back for Clemson, but for sure @ HIS on 3/7. We are going to see a man possessed when he comes back. If they end up a 7/8 seed in the NCAA's UNC is going to be a nightmare for some 1/2. That said, I can see him coming back, UNC winning the ACCt and grabbing a 4/5 too. Buckle up because the postseason is going to be fun to watch me thinks. Caleb is about to be Mr. March.

Regardless of who was out last night I think it pretty much ended any 4/5 possibilities.

I mean obviously if they won out through the ACC tournament then you're looking at like a 3. But is that happening? (hint: probably not)

no credible timeline he plays before the ACC tournament, that would be a foolish risk with little upside

i've never heard of such a thing, coming back for one game in which the team will still be big underdogs, when there's five more days of rest to be had otherwise? That's what i mean not credible

ah, i thought you meant more along the lines of "there is no way he can be medically cleared by then". However, assuming Henri is good to go as well, you can bet the house the Caleb will be ready to go (again, if cleared)

By all accounts, Hubert is a great guy. However, he shouldn't continue to be the head coach at The University of North Carolina after this season. It takes more than niceness and talking about sunny days, rainy days, blue/cloudy skies! Sick of it.....

The selfish part of me misses the days when a player like Caleb would stick around for 2-3 years (like Stack, Wallace, Carter, Jamison).

This is much appreciated. Can’t control missing outside shots especially from streaky shooters. But can control effort and defensive intensity.

“He just said that we’ve got to be better on defense,” Zayden High said. “Take some pride on defense, want to guard. He was just being a leader, the leader that everybody knows that he is.” Amen to that and Caleb needs to lead by example because he closes out late and loses his man.

I don't think Hubert doesn't show fight and urgency to the team behind the scenes. However, if it's not innate in the character/instincts of the players you recruit to be a dawg and their talent level isn't on par with what it needs to be to contend nationally, then, it's all bluster anyway. In the days of being competitive nationally every year, we'd have 2 or 3 Caleb Wilson's and then players right below that level. Now, we have 1 Caleb Wilson and then go a few rungs down, and the rest of our guys. That's not meant to be a diss on our players but rather the person that acquires the players.

Obviously? I am not sure a 3 was ever a possibility after California trip. Maybe a 4. best case is a 6 with strong acc tourney showing with worse case being 9/10 if we get beat the next 5 games
