Can we direct snap to Bishop?

2 tight ends. Bishop in the cat. Put our toughest defensive lineman - whomever that is - at fullback. Ball control. Beat your man. Methodical. Then rely on the remnants of Banks/Josh’s “bend don’t break” and “berzerk-upon-snap” defense to get the ball back. Stranger things have worked before. Remember the Chavis Prowler? I personally loved it.

If we don't sign another body at QB they better be at the very least practicing it.....

Yeah bc we the 2 five star Qb talents in your roster can’t throw a football right? I don’t think this place has any common sense any more. How did college football ever survive without QBs before portal? Leavitt was a RS freshman when he blew up. You didn’t know who he was. Demond Williams as a freshman. Marcel Reed. Dante Moore had little experience. Sayin at Ohio st. Mendoza last yr at Cal. all these QBs were unknowns until they weren’t. You have to play them to figure that out

Why take the play action fake out of play? That is like rolling a QB to one side of the field, why take the full field out of play? Your first option better be open quickly.

Threads like these amuse me… I’m pretty sure some of you called for the wing t last year because they didn’t get the receivers out of the portal you all wanted

It's all good, man........You can't play a 9 game SEC schedule with 2 QBs on the roster especially with a RS Fr and true Fr......last time Tennessee started the season with two freshman taking the majority of the snaps both were out for the season one midway thru the other with 3-4 games left........But yeah I'm an idiot.....

I believe it’s because there is really no back up plan at qb. A kid that is very talented but severely under weight with no experience and another kid who is very talented as well but missed most of his senior season because on injury and he won’t be 18 until June. Doesn’t encourage confidence. The schedule is brutal this coming season. IMO.

At the very least we need to beat Kentucky with a receiver at QB.

Nobody is talking about who knows more. 2024 we had a RS freshman starter, a walk on (gas pipe) and then true freshman Merk. I’m sure we can find an old walk on to be the back up. we finished 2nd in PPG and 3rd in total offense.

Stats have nothing to do with trying to play our schedule with two QBs.....I have no soubt they have the talent.....can two freshman stay healthy all year....probably not....one guy misses a game the other guy losses his helmet and has t ocome out for a play, whos lining up under center to take the snap?

I played tight end in a wing T! Blocking the opposite side DE was hell 😂.
