So here’s the way I’m looking at this…
If this were 4-5 days ago, I think there would be almost no chance that UGA pursues heavily. The timing, in one way, is tremendous here because Georgia doesn’t have to worry about running anyone off with the portal closed.
This staff LOVES the young talent in that room. Can’t say that enough. If it meant risking losing one of those key youngsters, I think they would let Lee walk.
IDK if UGA will make a big push or not. It will have to happen fast to get him enrolled. But from a timing perspective and keeping the room in tact, it makes more sense now.
EDIT: With reports that Lee is doing this to give himself options on Chambliss' appeal, that changes things on the Georgia end, even if it does decide to pursue. It's going to be tough to get him into school unless that appeal is denied very soon.

If we land Cayden we all can agree this is the best portal class by Kirby right? Topping this would be extremely impressive

Was thinking the same thing. Having no risk of attrition at this point works out perfectly for us.

I am glad they love the talent in the room. Who are the slot guys outside of Sacovie? And let’s be honest he isn’t exactly proven. This is a no brainer to me if the oil schools and Miami don’t want him we need to get this guy.
Also, if you can afford it we have a really strong proof of concept here with what we just did with Branch. Again that is if all the finances are equal which is highly unlikely.

A lot Ole Miss folks seem to think he either returns if Chambliss gets his appeal, something I don't think is happening, or get heads to Mizzou. Going to be interesting to watch

As much as I do love the young talent in that room it is lacking in experienced production. Adding a 100-1,000 yard receiver to that room instantly raises the floor and ceiling in my mind. Plus they like to rotate that room so there would be plenty of snaps to go around.
