Any chance he comes back after the lawsuit is settled?

The sad thing is that even if he wins big dollars his reputation will still be damaged. His firing got major sporting news coverage. This lawsuit will not even make a secondary story on the sports channels.

Discovery could be very interesting for this... Michigan will have to share where they got the credible information from. Sounds like it initially came from the Big ten and NCAA. They will have to share. Who gave them the information..... Aka Joey Vasquez Also NCAA and Big ten should be held liable because this was during the negotiations over the Harbaugh suspension.

Your overall point is right but in reality 90% of college football fans couldn't tell you who Chris Partridge is.

They will settle if there is even the slightest possibility of him winning, and I think there's a lot more of chance than slight he would

This could get interesting. Taking a settlement will get him a big payday but won't get his reputation back since in will happen in a back room and probably require him to sign a NDA not to discuss the details of the case. If he really wants his reputation back he needs to decline the settlement and take the case to court so all the information used to fire him will be put into discovery.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Agree-I don’t think Michigan had any choice at the time but he deserves compensation and an apology. I’m surprised Michigan didn’t make him an acceptable offer to avoid this.

I think it will cause it’s Michigan-I already got a Dan Wetzel national story.

Let's be serious for both parties in this, even if he gets a win in court, it's unlikely that the stink of everything that happened will get off him for more than why he got fired. Everyone associated with the program will be painted with the same brush. Unless there is some absolutely wild stuff in the trial no one outside of Michigan and maybe little brother and Columbus will care. The only thing that will repair it will be time and him working other places and get his name well clear of Michigan. Let's also consider that he can spend a lot of money and get nothing if he loses. Michigan will want this done as quickly and cheaply as possible so they might pay and be willing to admit fault if they get it over with which is all he can reasonably expect anyway.

I think his reputation is back with the ncaa clearance, but he will get $ and an apology hopefully.

In this case, Michigan deserves to be sued.

If this story is correct, this is the reason Michigan dropped the injunction for Harbaugh and accepted the 3 game suspension. It was false information from Pettiti and Warde went along with it, presumably not knowing it was a lie, and it made Michigan and Harbaugh look guilty. This whole thing pisses me off.

The NFL doesn't care what people do short of murder and few other heinous crimes. Michigan admits fault. NCAA lifts any show cause and he will get picked up in a hurry. DJ Durkin had a kid die and hes still in college football. Partridge will always be able to coach.

This isn’t going to discovery. No chance in hell anyone not named Partridge wants to come out with egg on their face. Good for Partridge, man. He says he was a scapegoat and he absolutely was. And no one is going to be held accountable for the Big Ten working with bad info. SMH.

Because there isn't any adults in the room to enforce it. Worst thing about this sport we love.

As he should. Michigan was far from the “leaders and best” in firing him. Warde should be a casualty of this.
