I thought Syracuse was highly regarded in college basketball. Those names associated with that job surprise me

Note Jerod Haase mentioned in the above story

Who were you expecting? Josh Schertz seems poised to get a P4 gig this offseason if he wants it. Raises a good question about how good a job Syracuse actually is.

Are we talking Jason "White Chocolate" Williams in that article for the LM job?

I'm disappointed that Will Wade's name did not come up in this report...

him poised to get "A" P4 gig is kind of my point. Maybe cuse is just like any other P4 team with no college bball history at this point

I think so. It's not top tier, for sure. Seems like an average P4 job.

Haase at UNCG would be interesting

I hope Capel stays at Pitt forever but realistically they need to move on from him. He was basically the Duke NIL bag man before NIL and can’t coach. Crootin sucks too.

Hodgson could be really good for Cuse. I followed his work with South Florida this season - created a fun, high scoring offense, pretty good team. I don’t want them to be our 11 seed

Hodgson and Schertz are probably the two most sought after mid major coaches this offseason

I need Wes Miller on our bench next season

Schertz is going to be on everyone's list and Hodgson will also be highly regarded. Not sure who you were thinking might be in play but Syracuse can do lots worse than those two.

i would love to see him take Lebo's spot. I'm not sure what Lebo is doing on the bench. He was below average at every stop and basically quit at his last college job. Probably a better choice than Hubert was when picked as an assistant while working at ESPN. At least Jeff put in the effort at other schools and had on staff his dad who was one of the best high school coaches around.

In this era, is Vanderbilt to Syracuse a lateral move?
