I heard from someone who is close to a relative of Hubert Davis and College of Charleston could be his next coaching position.

I hope he finds a landing spot that makes him happy and at peace.
EDITED TO ADD... I am not accustomed to so much positive feedback, so let me make two things clear: 1) I meant what I said, and 2) I'm glad he's moved on. ( which I truly believe is how most Heel fans feel.)

Matt Roberts, CoC AD, is a Carolina alum. Roy is friends with both Matt and of course Chad Holbrook, so Roy is probably pushing this.

I think he’d be better off as an assistant for a year or two, vs jumping right back in after the emotional roller coaster he’s been on. But good luck to him!

Hubert is a head coach but he needs to learn the intricacies of team building in a lower stakes environment. It would also serve him well to be able find his own way and not worry so much about the Carolina Way.
