Unbelievable we have folks making posts like these when we are tied with a team as bad as USC. Pope could go 0-32 and the same posters would be making excuses for him.

This is way over your head but I was talking about the entire season. I get it, you aren't fast but you are slow.

You can type whatever your heart desires. You will defend mediocrity until it slaps you in the face, apparently.

LOL at the clowns that think a team isn't catastropically effected when their QB is out for the season and their backup QB leaves at the midnight hour. Who's the 3rd string QB for the Bengals? LMAO

If the Bengals had a good roster they should beat the worst team in the NFL with a backup QB. Our coach was in charge of putting this roster together and we are fighting for our lives with the worst team in the SEC. I honestly can’t believe people that are this stupid are able to find a forum to post on.

You keep calling yourself stupid. I'd go easy on yourself. Pope is indeed resonsible for injuries as well. Take 2 weeks off, and the quit.

If Duke lost Cam Boozer, who is a NPOY candidate they would still be a ranked team.

They definitely wouldn’t be fighting for their lives against USC. Holy crap OP is a complete idiot.

You're making a fool of yourself and twisting the thread to make it all about you and soothe your PDS. Then again, Jimbo's usually do.

Regardless of whatever fight y’all are having, I just want to point out that professional wrestling fans know it isn’t “real.” I watch it to this very day and have trained/performed in it, albeit at a much, much lower level than what you’d be familiar with. It isn’t easy — it is a grueling sport and requires a lot of work to even become passable at it. I know it isn’t the most sophisticated pastime, but I think if you educated yourself more on just how ridiculously multi-talented some of the premier athletes are in that industry, it would at least be something you may find some appreciation for, even if it isn’t your thing.

But what if they lost him, their starting PG, Cayden had transferred and their best wing shooter was out? Pope has to do a better job, particularly with roster construction, but not everything is his fault. He does seem to be playing the starters more. OO and DA played 37, CC 35. Noah and Johnson only played 8 and 6. We do have to get something out of those 2 and Jelly if we are going to win any of the remaining 3.

Some people are more emotionally invested in the coach than they are the whole dang program. I could easily shrug them all off as trolls, but there are way too many parasocial Pope fans for me to think otherwise. It’s f-ing weird.

they’re easily bought by charm and charisma. This guy did it with Calipari too. I’m sure he did it with Tubby and Billy G. They take the face of the coach and slap it on the image of the program. They see the coach as the program. They’re fans sure, but very misguided and that’s why they end up looking so foolish. They don’t separate the coaches from the program itself. If they did, this wouldn’t be so hard for them to see.
