Wow, first really befuddling, unloyal and completely shortsighted transfer for Iowa. Did not see this one coming. Wasn’t he our representative at B10 media days last year!?!?

Bad news. Total shocker there. He'd better not be going to @$&*# Michigan State.

"Once a hawk, always a hawk" doesn't apply here. A starter leaving means hes chasing money. See ya.

This one really sets off alarm bells for me. I assumed our retention was so good because we probably paid a premium on retaining guys like him. Something seems off on this one.

Not surprised, not even really mad... its a different ballgame now. We (the adults) are responsible for letting this snowball the way it has, the players hold all the cards. Welcome to the end of Collegiate athletics...

He became famous as a special teamer under Woods. My guess is he has a very tight relationship and is going to MSU.

He was greater in fans' minds than what he produced on the field. Depth might make it an issue, but we should stop with all the adulation. I recall him getting beat in the Indiana game a few critical times, including their opening TD. A lot fo criticism of Brown but not toward Entringer in that game. Also, Iowa might be putting money on Lutmer, and there might not be enough to go to Entringer, which I fully support. If Entringer is a loss in that choice, we should accept that tradeoff.

This will hurt the secondary yet am I wrong in thinking the last few games I didn't see much production from him, no? Seemed the corners and Lutmer were all over the place and he seemed to be much more involved in earlier games this season...hmm..

Strange, he always seemed like a guy who was bought in to Kirk and Phil's philosophy. To me, this feels as though someone offered him a blank paycheck.
But at least now I can stop pretending to care that he mouths the words to Kinnick's Heisman speech before every game or that he made a "hustle play" against Michigan in the B1G championship because he missed a tackle like an idiot.

This is the new normal. We like to think, because we are fans, that players are as loyal as we are to a team. Just isn't the case any more. We get to cheer for the team that takes the field. Have to recalibrate loyalty now, thats all.

This is sad, really thought he was a Hawk through and through. Bad advice from some agent.
