Next season

Unfortunately, Diebler saved his job again by making the NCAA tournament. What a lame duck and worthless coach. now for next season, we have a McDonalds All American coming in next year. But first things first, you have to process EVERYONE not named Bynum or Mobley (royal is going to transfer). if they are serious about the basketball program they have to spend some serious, serious money getting talent, not players like Colin, out for blood, White, or the Gabe Cupps of the world but honestly, does it make a difference with a head coach like Diebler? His teams defenses are awful, the offensive sets are awful, the talent is awful, and we could have had Dusty May or John Calipari. Also, please please please invest in a big that isn’t charmin soft and a big time p*ssy. It’s just so frustrating that Ohio state basketball isn’t being taken seriously by the AD

Why do you want them to invest if you think he is a lame duck coach? You either save your money, suck next year, can him and start over or invest in a major way and win with him. There's not much of an in-between, which leads to a major flaw in your logic -- if there is any logic here.

He needs fired, he’s not going to be fired. So they need a GM and go all in on spending players. Then, when they suck again, they have no reason not to fire him

And if they spend on players and a GM and are good?

If they get a GM and an improved front court, theyll probably have a better season than they did this year and Diebler won’t be fired. Isn’t that kind of arguing against the outcome you want to see?

They nearly won an NCAA tourney game and got an 8 seed with a roster that had zero depth and terrible bigs. If they do manage to improve the talent on the roster significantly both at the center position and the depth...I would imagine they could legitimately make a run at the Final Four. Diebler HAS to clean up some of his decisions and calls at the end of games...but that kind of a run is a legit possibility based on what happened this year with this underwhelming roster.

If they are serious and get a GM and cut bait with every player besides Mobley and Bynum and the 5 star coming in, then we will see. But it doesn’t change the fact that in the last 10 minutes of games Dieblers teams are absolutely pathetic

Agreed. If they could clean house on the roster outside of the two guys and the frosh...plus get a GM...that would be the most ideal scenerio.
