What’s his track record for hiring elite coaches? Seems like a shít hire on paper.
If you are going to go with a vanilla inside the box hire, then go get a sitting AD with a proven track record.

I’m not worried about football or softball.
OU has the powers, support, and infrastructure to keep football and softball alive and well.
I’m hoping a background at a basketball school like Illinois will correlate to success on and off the court with hoops. Stability, NIL support, facilities, and wins most importantly.
