Savor it

I am a 40 year old fan of the Huskers. I remember going to nearly every single Nebrasketball game in high school. While there was some good, it was mostly bad. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a top 10 team. This is the best men's basketball team in my lifetime, and it is very possible it is the best one I will ever live to see. So the point I am trying to make is.....enjoy the ride. I know the talk is about what seed we are going to get, and getting the monkey off our back and finally winning an NCAA tournament game, but man it's been a fun ride so far. We have 2 more months of conference play to enjoy this team. I don't want to jump to the finish line, because not only is this team good, but they are fun to watch, too. Selection Sunday will be here soon enough, and we will find out how far this team can go, but I know I am going to savor every game, and relish the good vibes and team chemistry, because this season is as much about the journey as it is the final destination. Go Big Fred!

This will be the first year I plan on them making the sweet 16 or better in my march madness bracket.

As a college sophomore I was obligated to pick us to win in 1991. That year was special too but this just feels different.

I'm a 56 year old fan of the Huskers. Spent a couple summers at Moe Iba's camp in Junior High. I'm with you, don't want this to end. Will be savoring every game!
