I feel like some of the personality of the stadium is being taken out. Some parts of South are cool, but I feel like West looks like your random run of the mill NFL Stadium. Also, Im guessing the ramps in West are gone? Those were also unique. They also arent doing it for people like us. I dont care about the "experience." I need 18 inches on a bench and trough to go to during 2 4 minute media timeouts interpreted by a touchback. However, I obviously understand why it is happening.
That being said, getting better WiFi in there will be a game changer.

We suck. I don’t care if we play in a sandlot.

The old grey lady will likely lose her charm with this facelift but at least she's staying around. It would likely be easier albeit twice as expensive to build a stadium on the innovation campus.

Here's another hot take: none of this matters if the product on the field doesn't get better. They're trying to improve the fan experience which I think we all understand the reasoning for. The reality is there won't be a group of fans to watch them play because the next generation of people the university needs to start buying season tickets don't carry the same interest - mainly because they've never seen them be good in their lifetime. It doesn't consume them the way it did for our parents and grandparents that are the current majority of season ticket holders. It remains to be seen how it will shake out if football stays on the same path its been on for a couple decades now. I personally think it will be tested more than the university realizes.

Seats in top row of South End Zone. The ability to pee and snag a beer in less than 20-30 minutes will be MORE than welcome and its way overdue. It was so bad we were getting close to dropping season tickets.

My concern will be the 2027 season for folks in the West. I think many won't comeback if they are gone a year and these are some decent size donors. The same can be said for the south.

Hot take: it looks pretty damn good. Will be much louder. There are bars, open air space and viewing, extremely accessible.

We’re “improving the fan experience” by making it more like every other stadium experience everywhere. If the fan experience was terrible, people wouldn’t be filling the stadium for a below average product."Some parts of south are cool," said the guy who clearly never held season tickets in South stadium.

My take on all of it is Nebraska might as well have a nice stadium if they can't win football games 🤣 it sucks but theres literally no hope for the program.I feel like some of the personality of the stadium is being taken out. Rhule's task is to hold serve in '26 and overachieve in the '27 "semester abroad". I like Matt, but his schtick is not sustainable without more wins. GBR!

We are going to have some fans that show up to the new complex in two years using the men's bathroom for the first time wondering where are the troughs.

It’s still a bummer they aren’t doing the east to match the south/west. Look at all the videos they are releasing, they are purposely not showing how ugly and weird the new southeast corner will look.
I would have liked the 3/4 “horseshoe” to all match on the lower bowl, and just left left the north as different.
I also would have liked the top tier of the new south span the whole endzone, skip the screen, and just placed one massive screen that spans the whole north.
Some AI renderings from someone who donates no money, lives out of state, and attends 1 game per year 😂
