The Cal supporters are definitely a minority. The majority knew it was time for him to depart.

It wouldn’t get loud if Mitch made a competent hire. It was time for Cal to go, I appreciate everything he did but it was time

Put aside everybody’s feeling about Pope and Cal. The most frustrating thing about it is we could have had that cake walk to the finals if we took care of business.

It was definitely time for Cal to go, but it was Mitch’s time to go first.

Hopefully cal lovers will leave ksr plus for the Arkansas pages , because this page is for Kentucky sports and other sports.

Whatever cal does there wasn’t gonna happen here he would’ve lost to ole miss yesterday and would say the whole built for march bs in his press conference

How about the fact that Vandy Athletics has completed passed UK Athletics in the sports that actually count? That should be a bigger source of noise than Cal outperforming.

The only person who’s actually annoying about the Cal stuff is Seth Greenberg. Dude just makes up narratives that don’t even exist

If Cal had taken this roster at UK to a 5 seed, we’d have considered it a failure.

Yup. If they would have beaten Georgia, Missouri, and Texas A&M they would’ve been the 3 seed

Nate Oats lost to Ole Miss and apparently Oats has the best offense and is the smartest coach ever It’s ok to still support Cal and had Mitch and Capiluto left sooner and not done all this back door insider trading - Cal may still be here. There’s a lot of reasons he needed to leave but there are also a lot of what if’s.. How can we bash the man when he did so many amazing things here and also brought so much winning. To me it out weighs the last few years and if this makes me sound like a Cal supporter, good

Cal is biggest failure in college basketball last 20 years but people won’t admit it 1 national championship with all that nba talent is failure but for some reason some fans here want admit it.

This is how I feel, but the toxic discourse almost forces you to pick a side. I still like Cal, even though it was time for his tenure at UK to end, but because I know with everything he does well our fanbase is gonna go absolutely manic, it makes me less inclined to root for him.

How I can because with all that talent he only had 1 national and his coaching cost uk more national championships, that means he failed a lot as HC at uk but for some reason fans don’t see it they are blinded for some reason.

This Cal was never going to happen again at UK. Cal was trapped in his own OAD mess when experience was going up in value, he was fried w UK and fans and frankly UK fans were pretty done with him. His results slipped for like 5 years before he left. I don’t wish anything bad on him but I wouldn’t want to have NOT parted ways when they did either. They just picked the wrong guy for anything past the press conference. I also hope Vandy wins.

Yall wild not gonna lie, I've seen two days in a row of shit talking two really good coaches in Golden and now Cal, meanwhile we are going in the wrong direction. Like where tf do yall get off? Win and advance!
