How absolute is the buyout stuff? I know you stated recently we supposed to receive buyout money on Devin Harper too? When will we receive those funds? Are those things broken down by monthly payments or a lump sum?

Which means he could be coming back tomorrow. My best bet is that their is a Tackle they like and they would rather use the buyout money and the money used for Princewill to get a tackle. The Maldonado transfer as well as Purchase will help this out. Its a little moneyball with a little dodgers sprinkled in.

If we are comfortable at DE, we can use it for OT and or any young Miami talent that gets in the portal

It’s like people have said, if a guy isn’t sure if he wants to be at OM, then it’s probably best to let him go.. He agreed to a remuneration package, then if he’s tempted to go elsewhere afterwards, we don’t need people who waffle in their choices/decisions..

Upgraded? That’s a stretch

Would be unfortunate but wouldn’t be like a “huge loss”. He’s definitely our main pass rusher and having him is an asset, but I also feel like he left a lot to be desired off the edge. Without him, we still have: Franklin, Renaud, Graham, Purchase, Maldonado, and Barnes (who I believe will play quite a few snaps as a true freshman). Purchase and Maldonado are probably your pass rush off the edge unless Barnes comes on quickly, then i’d replace Purchase with Barnes
