Hm....I like this match-up a lot for Tennessee. Also, they aren't shooting like this two games in a row. No one ever does. Which is why winning 6 games in a row is so hard.

If you actually watched this game you watched 2 trash teams. Miami shot the 3 well (on exceptionally open looks I may add) and that’s the only thing either team did well. SMU has been dead since they lost bj and that’s basically what happened tonight.

I like Oxpara here. Concerned with who Estrella and Carey can guard

This is a great post. Miami looked liked they did against the rest of their trash schedule because SMU is abysmal

They shot 39% tonight which was their average as a team fo the year. Difference is they shot 15 more than their average. So really they shot the same way they did the entire year. Just more volume. Can’t let them get that many up.

Bruce just said they have 9 players who have scored 20 points in a game this year. Thats a lot.

Don’t choke away UK, Alabama, Vandy and Missouri wins and you’re a 4.

If you look at the stats, Tennessee was the best in the SEC this season in 3-point field goal defense, allowing 30.5% shooting in 33 games. Bodes well for our chances if they decide that is their best weapon because of inside size. Their inside height is 6'8 and 6 '9 against Carey and Okpara with Estrella off the bench. The big mismatch is going to be 6'10" Ament against a 6'5 or 6'6" wing player. Our strength, all season has been rebounding. We should feast on that.

39% is incredibly good. by way of comparison, Tenn doesn't come close to that. JG and Ament both shoot 33%
