FORT LAUDERDALE, Mia. — The off-season is already underway and talented blue-chip recruits from across the country are ready to compete at Battle Miami this weekend in one of the biggest 7-on-7 tournaments of the season.

Although there are still a few more days left to close out the 2024 cycle, the next wave of talent is ready to jump into the spotlight. Future Power 5 recruits in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes are set to take the field this weekend, and On3 will be on hand for all of the action.

Here’s a look at some of the talent expected in South Florida this weekend in Battle’s kickoff event:

Raw Miami features several local blue-chippers

Raw Miami has a roster stocked on both sides of the ball and naturally features a heavy dose of South Florida talent. Highlighting the offensive playmakers include 2025 On300 wide receivers Naeshaun Montgomery (No. 10 WR) and Cortez Mills (No. 21 WR) from the Miami area. Oregon-committed Dallas Wilson (No. 15 WR) and UCF commit Santonyo Isaac (No. 43 WR) both come from Tampa. Houston WR Deion Deblanc and Connecticut WR Teriq Mallory are other upcoming 2025s drawing Power 5 offers this spring.

Elite 2026 Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County Aaron Gregory will also be featured on Raw Miami’s offense. Gregory is the On3 Industry Ranking No. 1 WR in the country in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Georgia holds the early lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Defensively, there are no shortage of blue-chippers, particularly at the safety position where four-stars Hylton Stubbs No. 6 S), Anquon Fegans (No. 11 S) and Amari Wallace (No. 14 S) and Keon Young (No. 19 S) round out the depth chart. Also seeing action back deep include 2026 Florida State-committed S Darryl “Tre” Bell and four-star S Jireh Edwards, the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 6 safety in the 2026 cycle.

On300 2025 CB Ben Hanks (No. 26 CB) and 2026 On3 four-star 2026 Jvari Flowers man the cornerback spots along with 2025 three-star CB Rakeem Stroud and 2025 three-star CB Chris McCorkie. Sekou Smith is another 2025 ATH garnering looks in the secondary.

SFE stocked with local and national talent

Florida State-committed QB Tramell Jones will engineer one of the most star-studded offenses this weekend, one that features his five-star teammate Jaime Ffrench, who recently backed off his longtime commitment to Alabama. The Seminoles are one of the several programs in the hunt for Ffrench, the No. 3 WR in the On300 for 2025, who is also considering Miami, Georgia, Ohio State, along with the tide.

Ffrench is one six top-50 WRs on the SFE offense along with Oregon commit Adrian Wilson (No. 6 WR), Marcus Harris (No. 9 WR), Ohio State commit Jayvan Boggs (No. 24 WR) and Vernell Brown III (No. 41 WR). Underclassmen expected to see action include four-star 2026 WR Jabari Brady and California WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt. 2027 Florida ATH Nicholas Lennear is another young playmaker to watch.

Equally as stocked is the defensive secondary. On300 cornerbacks Onis Kanabanny (No. 18 CB) and Daryus Dixon (No. 24 CB) are in high demand by college football blue-bloods, and 2025 CB Courtney Patterson has garnered looks from West Virginia and Texas of late. 2026 On3 four-star CB Brody Jennings is a soon-to-be junior worth watching.

At safety, keep an eye on On3 Industry Ranking four-star S Javarious Lundy. 2026 safeties Amari Jones and Ayden Pouncy also see a ton of action and are in high demand. 2027 ATH Jamarcus Giscombe also sees action back deep with early overtures from Pitt and West Virginia.

Defcon Florida includes heavy dose of Sunshine State talent

The Defcon Florida offense should be lighting scoreboards with this group of pass-catchers. The core is headlined by On3 Industry Ranking 2025 four-star wide receivers Koby Howard and Miami commitment Waden Charles. Kamare Williams is another top-50 WR and explosive slot Kyle Washington has garnered offers from Texas A&M, Tennessee, Penn State, West Virginia and UCF after a breakout junior campaign. Recent Miami offer Branden Hoch gives Defon Florida a 6-foot-3, 195-pound playmaker. 2026 Auburn WR commit Denairius Gray is another spark on that side of the ball.

There’s a slew of stars on defense for Defcon Florida, including top-100 CB Chris Ewald, who recently backed off his commitment to Michigan. Florida State and Miami are both in hot pursuit of the South Florida blue-chipper. Elsewhere in the secondary is 2025 CB Tywan Cox and 2025 ATH Caden Gordon. Top-100 S Tony Williams headlines a deep group of safeties along with 2026 6-foot-3, 175-pound Jaydin Broadnax and 2026 6-foot-2, 170-pound Dominic Turnbull. On3 top-50 LB Tarvos Alford mans the middle of the field. Oho State recently jumped into the lead on the RPM for the elite LB.

Defcon Texas features San Antonio playmakers

Defcon Texas is always loaded with Central Texas playmakers. This year’s squad brings back a ton of familiar faces, especially on offense with On3 four-star 2025 WR Royal Capell, On300 WR Jaden Perez and 2025 WR Jalen Cooper. The offense is also going to feature 2026 four-star ATH Keisean Henderson, who will get his first taste at receiver in this setting.

2026 Willis (Texas) ATH Jermaine Bishop is a two-way playmaker who prepped alongside five-star Florida signee DJ Lagway for the past two seasons. He should see snaps on offense and at cornerback, and is a threat to take it to the house at either spot. Elite 2026 Oklahoma RB commit Jonathan Hatten will see action out of the backfield for the Defcon Texas squad, which is quarterbacked by Chad Warner, who set multiple records at Cibolo (Texas) Steele as a junior last fall.

Defensively, keep an eye out for 2030 ATH Javontae Carter, the little brother of On3 top-50 S Dontae Carter, who inked with Vanderbilt in December. Carter already holds an offer from the Vanderbilt coaching staff.

Bootleggers packing talent from The Boot

The Bootleggers are ready to rock with another star-studded group of playmakers on both sides of the ball. The Louisiana-based 7-on-7 program boasts one of the nation’s best RB in the 2025 class, James Simon, who will check out Miami this weekend. 2025 WR Quincey McKay Jr. is a talented pass-catcher to watch out of Houma (La.) Terrebonne. It won’t take long to spot 2026 WR Jabari Mack, who is high on Florida State, Texas, LSU and Oregon early on. 2025 6-foot-3, 190-pound ATH Jade Card should provide the Bootleggers with a mismatch to use across the field.

There’s a strong infusion of Louisiana and Mississippi talent across the secondary. That group includes On3 Industry Ranking four-star CB Jayden Gloston on the perimeter along with On300 CB Cortez Thomas. Versatile DB Tre Fuller is the No. 24-ranked S in the On300 for 2025 and is a natural center-fielder. 2026 Mississippi CB Gavin Howard and 2027 CB Delwin Perkins are young prospects of note. Perkins is cousins with former Heisman Trophy-winning Alabama WR DeVonta Smith, now a star with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fast Houston has Texas speed and national playmakers

Fast Houston boasts a national cast of All-Americans on both sides of the ball. The offense is highlighted by two of the top pass-catching tight ends in the country in Kiotti Armstrong and Nate Roberts, the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 3 and 5 prospects at their positions, respectively. Four-star Arizona WR Cooper Perry and 2026 Peach State RB Tyriq Green are both playmakers on offense and both have national offer sheets. 2026 four-star QB Faizon Brandon is the No. 3 QB in the country, and the rising junior should have an opportunity to operate a high-octane group in Miami.

Highlighting the deep group of defensive playmakers includes elite CB Trey McNutt, an Ohio State legacy. Joining McNutt in the secondary rotation are Texas-based cornerbacks Nigel Pringle (2025) and Brock King (2026). Speedy Pennsylvania CB Kyshawn Robinson is a 2026 that should also see action. On3 four-star 2025 Penn State commit Omari Gaines is one of several safeties on the Fast Houston roster along with 2025 S LaDarian Glardy and 2026 top-30 S Zelus Hicks. 2026 ATH Jontavious Wyman also gets action back deep. The offense is headlined by a deep group of 2025 wide receivers including Antwon Thomas, Cashus Shivers and Damon Stennis. 25 ATH Elisha Durham also sees snaps on offense and is coming off a visit to Penn State and will check out Miami this weekend. On3 Industry Ranking four-star TE Xavier Newsom provides SMSB with a massive 6-foot-5, 220-pound difference-maker in the middle of the field. Michigan is the early leader on the RPM for the Michigan blue-chipper. 2026 four-star WR CJ Sadler should provide some sparks for the offense. So should 2027 6-foot-4, 200-pound ATH Anthony Cartwright, 2027 ATH Dakota Guerrant, and 2027 Darryl Flemister. 2027 QB Trae Taylor already holds multiple Power 5 offers, including one from the Wolverines.

Defensively, look out for 2025 LB Dimari Malone and 2025 S Derrick Jackson. West Virginia is a team to watch for the ladder. 2026 S Marcello Viti boasts a deep group of offers after a stellar sophomore season and should be a tone-setter for this unit.

California Power is loaded with national stars

There’s a lot of star power to contain on the California Power offense. The tight end group is highlighted by a trio of blue-chip tight ends: top-50 TE Linkson Cure, On300 Georgia commit Ethan Barbour and Da’Saahn Brame, the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 4 TE trending toward Oregon on the RPM. There’s also talent on the perimeter in top-100 WR Kaliq Lockett, who turned 69 receptions into 1,300 yards with 13 touchdowns as a junior last fall; and SMU commit Daylon Singleton, who caught six passes for 179 yards and 2 TD and also returned a KO for a TD in a dominant state championship victory last month. 2026 WR Elias Coke, 2026 slot WR Vance Spafford and 2027 ATH Mark Bowman (flex TE) are some of the many young offensive playmakers on Cali Power, quarterbacked by 2026 QB Luke Fahey, who holds early offers from Cincinnati, Maryland and Arkansas.

Cali Power is equally as stout on defense with a trio of four-star LB in the rotation. Georgia commit Jadon Perlotte, Noah Mikhal and Matai Tagoai are all top-100 prospects in the 2025 class. The secondary is highlighted by the nation’s top S DJ Pickett, On300 CB Charles Bass and 2025 CB Aydan West and LaRue Zamerano. 2026 CB Marcellous Ryan and 2027 CB Duvay Williams are two young cornerbacks that play big. Four-star S Sael Reyes headlines a talented collection of safeties along with four-star Antonio Parker and Aiden Manutai, who see action at nickel.

Trillion Boys have a lot of playmakers at their disposal

One of the top QB in the country is at the helm of the Trillian Boys offense. On300 QB Antwan Hill, a one-time Colorado verbal, has the keys to the engine, which features three of the best 15 WR in the country in Andrew Marsh (No. 4 WR), Donovan Olugbode No. 11 WR) and Phillip Bell (No. 13 WR). Jakayden Ferguson is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound WR with speed to burn and 2026 ATH Kamarie Smith provides a spark in the slot. Oregon, San Diego State, Washington State and Nebraska have offered Smith since the end of his sophomore season.

Defensively, the secondary is littered with playmakers across the board, including 2025 CB Draden Fullbright and Jae’on Young, who’s coveted by USC and Oregon. Top-25 player Dijon Lee is a massive big cornerback that can wipe away elite pass-catchers. Antonio Branch is another 2025 CB with length; Miami is trending on the RPM for the South Florida defender. 2026 Miami commit Ksani Jiles also sees action in the rotation. On300 S Jadyn Hudson and On3 Industry Ranking No. 2 S Zech Fort are two game-breakers at the position.

C1N ready to roll with playmakers on both sides of the ball

2025 Miami QB commit Luke Nickel will orchestrate the C1N 7v7 squad, which has talent all across the board. Among the top pass-catchers on the squad include former Colorado and Texas A&M verbal commitment Winston Watkins along with On300 WR CJ Wiley and 2025 WR Sam Turner, a 6-foot-3, 190-pounder who has collected offers from Georgia, BYU, Indiana and Mississippi State in recent weeks. Two 2026 WRs to know include Peyton Zachery and Brock Boyd, the little brother Texas Tech WR Brady Boyd.

The C1N defense is headlined by 2025 LSU commit Jaylen Bell and Zacharey Smith at the CB spots. Smith has landed offers from Auburn and Ole Miss since coaches hit the road this month. 2026 four-star CB Dorian Barney should also see a ton of action. 2025 Duke S commit Ma’khi Jones and 2026 ATH AJ Marks are two more to watch in the secondary.

The 24K program always loads up on talent across the Southeast. The 2024 installment of the squad is headlined by one of the top QB in the country in the 2025 cycle in K.J. Texas Threat features a bevy of Lone Star State talent

Texas Threat has been the home to some of the top playmakers on both sides of the ball out of the Lone Star State in recent years, and this year’s squad fits the bill again. Virginia Tech 2025 QB commit Kelden Ryan is behind the wheel of this offense with On3 top-100 WR Daylan McCutcheon leading a group of WR along with Kameron Powell, Ayden Webb and Texas Longhorns legacy WR Kaydon Finley in the 2026 class.
