The Big Ten released its Week 4 television schedule and network designations Monday. The schedule begins Friday, September 19th with Iowa at Rutgers set for a primetime slot on FOX.

Saturday’s designations begin at 12:00 p.m. ET and will go across multiple networks. NBC, Big Ten Network, CBS and FOX will all have games that weekend.

It should be noted Michigan State is going to have quite the late kickoff as the Spartans travel to USC. They kickoff at 11:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. PT. Brutal for east coast fans!

Big Ten Week 4 TV schedule

The Big Ten has its television schedule set for Week 4 and it’s a good one as we look ahead in September. The full slate can be read below. All times are eastern.

Friday 9/19: Iowa at Rutgers at 8 PM on FOX
Saturday 9/20: Maryland at Wisconsin at 12 PM on NBC
Saturday 9/20: Oregon State at Oregon at 3 PM on Big Ten Network
Saturday 9/20: Michigan at Nebraska at 3:30 PM on CBS
Saturday 9/20: Purdue at Notre Dame 3:30 PM on NBC
Saturday 9/20: Illinois at Indiana at 7:30 PM on NBC
Saturday 9/20: Washington at Washington State at 7:30 PM on CBS
Saturday 9/20: Michigan State at USC at 11 PM on FOX

Notably, Ohio State and Penn State are not playing on that schedule. The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions are the No. 1 and 2 teams in the current AP Poll.

For the Buckeyes, Saturday was much different than their opening-week game against fellow national title hopeful Texas. Grambling State was clearly outmatched from the opening play of the game.

But coach Ryan Day still wanted to see how his team would handle playing in such a lopsided game. The Buckeyes responded well.

“The issues are always going to be there,” Day said. “It’s just a matter of identifying what they are. You know, it’s no secret this was not a matchup game and a lot of respect for coach. And I thought their team played hard in this game. They were outmatched, talent-wise for sure. And I think he expressed that. But I give them a lot of respect for playing hard and playing for four quarters all the way to the end.”
