With a lot of carnage among the Top 25-ranked teams this past weekend, my AP Top 25 ballot has several changes.

Ohio State takes over my No. 1 spot, followed by another undefeated Big Ten team in Indiana. SEC teams occupy the next five spots – No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Georgia, No. 6 Ole Miss and No. 7 Vanderbilt.

New to my ballot this week: No. 19 Louisville,  No. 22 Arizona State, No. 23 Houston and No. 25 Boise State.

My Top 25 ballot after Week 8:

1. Ohio State (7-0)

The Buckeyes blanked Wisconsin 34-0 as quarterback Julian Sayin threw for 393 yards and four touchdowns. The Buckeyes’ defense held Wisconsin to only 144 yards of offense. The Buckeyes are off next week and host Penn State on Nov. 1.

2. Indiana (6-0)

The Hoosiers didn’t put up quite as impressive numbers as coach Curt Cignetti’s new 8-year, $93 million deal, but Indiana eventually pulled away from Michigan State 38-13. The Hoosiers shook off a sluggish start. Indiana trailed 10-7 early in the second quarter before closing the game on a 31-3 run. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns. Indiana hosts UCLA on Saturday.
