Jaden Hamm, one of the top juniors in the Sunflower State, will play college football in the SEC.

Hamm, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end from Eudora (Kan.) High announced on Twitter Saturday that he was committed to Arkansas. Hamm picked the Hogs over offers from more than 10 schools, including Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State.

“I would like to count all my blessings and thank God, family, friends, and coaches for helping me make the right decision for my future,” Jaden Hamm said in the tweet announcing his commitment. “I would like to thank coach (Dowell) Loggains and coach (Sam) Pittman for giving me the opportunity to be a Razorback.

“After long talks with my family, I’m proud to say I’m verbally committing to the University of Arkansas.”

Jaden Hamm continues Arkansas’ momentum

The commitment from Hamm continues a hot streak for the Hogs. Earlier this week, the Razorbacks landed a commitment from four-star 2023 tight Shamar Easter.

Easter made the announcement in a school event and had the Arkansas coaching staff attending the announcement via Zoom. The video was made available by the Ashland School District twitter account.

Hamm becomes the second 2023 commitment for the Razorbacks. He joins a tight end room that currently features eight tight ends on the roster, four of which are freshmen or redshirt freshmen.

Since Pittman’s arrival, the Razorbacks have been making waves on the recruiting trail.

In the 2021 class, the Razorbacks landed key commitments from four-star wide receiver Ketron Jackson, four-star athlete AJ Green as well as four-star offensive line transfer Ty’Kieast Crawford.

In the 2022 class, the Razorbacks hold key commitments from four-star Michigan safety Myles Rowser and have locked down the state, landing three four-star in-state prospects in E’Marion Harris, Andrew Chamblee and Quincy McAdoo.

The Razorbacks also landed three-star in-state defensive lineman Nico Davillier, who was highly coveted.
