Four-star WR Tyran Evans commits to Miami, talks commitment to Hurricanes

Charlotte (NC) William Amos Hough On3 four-star receiver Tyran Evans has committed to Miami.
Evans becomes commit No. 18 for head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff, adding to a class the On3 Industry previously ranked No. 7 nationally. He is a former Tennessee commit.
Future position coach Kevin Beard was the lead recruiter for Evans.
“Coach Cristobal, Coach Beard, the staff, the school, the tradition, the amount of players they put in the NFL,” Evans said of what stands out.
Evans is coming off a terrific junior season where he turned 36 receptions into 980 yards and 14 touchdowns. On3 tabs him as the nation’s No. 29 receiver and No. 199 prospect overall.

Over the weekend Evans was back in Coral Gables.
“Being around Coach Cristobal, Coach Beard, Coach (Shannon) Dawson, D-Train (Dennis Smith) and literally everyone else on the staff,” he said of the highlights.
“Seeing more of Miami.”
Now he’s part of the Miami family.
Other offers for Evans includes South Carolina, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina and NC State. Everyone is chasing Miami moving forward.
