National Championship Odds: Betting favorites see shakeup after Week 10 of college football

The latest national championship odds are here and they saw a shakeup following Week 10 of college football. All odds are courtesy of BetMGM.
We have the clear cut favorites as we are fully into November, but some others are creeping back into the picture. Texas anyone?
Without further ado, let’s dive into the latest national championship odds. We’ll start with the favorite.
Ohio State (+200)
Ohio State is the favorite to win the national championship based on the odds. So really, nothing’s changed now that we’re fully into November.
The Buckeyes dominated a downtrodden Penn State team over the weekend. Ryan Day and crew are in line for the No. 1 seed at this point.
Indiana (+500)

Indiana is next up in the national championship odds. Who would’ve thought that at the start of the year? Curt Cignetti would’ve!
Fernando Mendoza is playing at a Heisman Trophy level right now and Indiana is 8-0. They’ve passed more tests this year, it’s just a matter of can they take the next step and win the Big Ten/win a CFP game?
Alabama (+700)
Alabama is one of the hottest teams in the country right now as they’ve won seven in a row. They had a bye week this past weekend but they are back in action Saturday.
Kalen DeBoer has figured it out after all looked lost after one game. Shocking right? The Crimson Tide are firmly in the national championship conversation.
Texas A&M (+1,000)
Texas A&M is another 8-0 squad that should not be trifled with. It seems like Mike Elko has this team firing off on all cylinders.
It’ll be a tough end to the season with Missouri and Texas on the road this month. But, this is a bonafide national championship contender.
Oregon (+1,000)

Oregon had a bye week this week, just like some other national championship contenders. But now it’s time for the stretch run!
The Ducks have Iowa on the road this week, which is no easy task. They’ll also have ranked matchups against USC and Washington to conclude this season.
Georgia (+1,000)
Georgia edged Florida this weekend in their rivalry matchup. It wasn’t pretty, but they got it done and improved to 7-1, keeping them in the national championship picture.
Gunner Stockton threw for 223 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The defense limited the Gators to 281 yards of offense and made a few more plays to escape with a victory.
Notre Dame (+1,000)
Notre Dame won its sixth straight game to improve to 6-2 on the season. They beat Boston College 25-10 on the road.

CJ Carr threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns and Jeremiyah Love ran for 136 yards and two scores. That combo could certainly aid a national championship effort.
Ole Miss (+2,000)

Another win for Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin! These odds might actually get shorter as the season progresses.
Could Ole Miss win the national championship? You might want to get in on these odds now before they’re 12-1 and one of the top seeds! Well, we’ll see!
Texas Tech (+2,500)
Texas Tech still has the best odds when it comes to Big 12 teams competing for a national championship. Things could drastically shift when they play BYU this week.
Heck, the Red Raiders could play them twice (the second being in the Big 12 championship game). Circle that game on the calendar this weekend.
Texas (+3,000)
The Longhorns are back! Or is it “Texas is back?” Either way, Stevee Sarkisian and crew are 7-2 following a win over Vanderbilt.
They only have one SEC loss, so they’re not out of it when it comes to the conference title. But through nine games, Texas is still in the national championship conversation.
