The 2025 regular season finished strong. Rivalry week did not disappoint. The tryptophan tried to slow us down. But, we all powered through and were blessed with another wild weekend of close contests, boneheaded blunders, and memorable moments.

As far our On3 Impact Rankings are concerned, let’s take a step back and show some gratitude for some of the fellows that balled out and enter the postseason on high notes!

Impact Riser of the Week: RB Jadan Baugh, Florida

Previous Rank: RB 16, Player No. 204
Current Rank: RB 10, Player No. 102

Though Billy Napier’s last stand soured much of Florida’s fall, Saturday’s authoritative takedown of in-state rival FSU was a bit of a sweetener. While the defense was better and DJ Lagway completed 62% of his throws, the main reason the Gators won was because they ran the Baugh — at high volume and efficiency.

Sophomore stud Jadan Baugh totaled 264 yards on 39 attempts for 2 scores. Outside of Emmet Smith, no Gator has had a more prolific game carrying the rock. Ever.

Running all over the Seminoles with his bruising rushing style, Baugh broke 13 tackles — only two other backs compiled more to close out the regular season. Per my charting, his 36.0% Broken Tackle Rate was the SEC’s 2nd-best before this weekend. So this isn’t just a one-week fluke. And looking ahead to next season, he’s well primed to not only be one of the conference’s top ball carriers, but the country’s as well.

No. 2: QB Arch Manning, Texas

Previous Rank: QB 20, Player No. 178
Current Rank: QB 5, Player No. 55

Arch Manning’s steady improvement over the last month was finally reflected in our Impact Rankings. Despite not having his best game, he kept coming up with key plays that allowed Texas to stay on the attack and ultimately ruin the Aggies’ bid for a perfect season. Whether it was a subtle shuffle in the pocket to buy a beat against a pass rusher, sprinting to space to keep a drive alive, playing true backyard ball, or housing a designed run for a score, Manning’s legs popped and reminded everyone of his potential.

But going back to that steady improvement, Manning is exhibiting play like the QB he was billed to be. Since Week 9, he’s owned both a top5 Adjusted Net Passing Yards/Attempt (ANY/A) and Interceptable Pass Rate among SEC passers. Really good stuff considering 12.4% of those throws were dropped. Moreover, no conference QB has been pressured as much as Manning, other than LaNorris Sellers. He’s hanging tough, driving the offense, and continuing to add additional polish to his offerings. Welcome back to the spotlight, Arch.

No. 3: S Miles Scott, Illinois

Previous Rank: S 53, Outside Top300
Current Rank: S 33, Outside Top300

If you were to look up the definition of “ball hawk” on Dictionary.com, you might find a cut-up of Miles Scott versus Northwestern. On only 2 outright targets, the impact safety defended 4 passes including a pair of 4th quarter picks. The Wildcats were ultimately held to 13 points, their lowest total since Week 1.

Routinely stingy and spooking opposing passers, Scott’s 0.23 yards per coverage snaps allowed finished this regular season as a top10 mark among major conference safeties. Not bad for a walk-on who originally tried out for WR.

No. 4: WR Omarion Miller, Colorado

Previous Rank: WR 51, Outside Top300
Current Rank: WR 36, Player No. 296

The former top50 WR prospect in 2023 class might have had a slow start this fall, but he’s found nice production the last month. Perhaps coinciding with Buffalo blue chip Julian Lewis getting some starts, Omarion Miller has 374 yards and 4 TDs since Week 10. Saturday saw his highest workload where he was targeted 12 times for 7 catches for a buck-twenty.

Along with the sturdy counting stats, Miller has been efficient. His 2.57 yards per route run is top25 among Power4 wideouts.

No. 5: EDGE Gabe Jacas, Illinois

Previous Rank: EDGE 59, Outside Top300
Current Rank: EDGE 38, Outside Top300

Gabe Jacas certainly closed the season strong. The last two weeks consisted of consecutive performances of 5 hurries, 2 sacks, and at least 3 stops. Now, only six edges have more QB takedowns than his 11.

Jacas’ 73 total impact plays (havocs + defensive stops) are tied for the 20th-most at the position exiting the regular season. Plus, his 13.9% such rate is also top20 among high volume P4-ers.

No. 6: RB Sieh Bangura, Ohio

Previous Rank: RB 56, Outside Top300
Current Rank: RB 43, Outside Top300

Despite failing to catch on in any way at Minnesota last year, Ohio’s Sieh Bangura had a helluva campaign back in his element this season. Effective and consistent, he topped the century mark for the seventh time this season and the fifth in the last 6 games. He’s on the shortlist of ball carriers to sit inside the nation’s top10 in both rush yards and scores.

In additional to having a career-year in those respects, his 4.0 YAC average is over a yard better than his best on record. Over 71% of his production this season has come after defensive engagement.

No. 7: EDGE Keyron Crawford, Auburn

Previous Rank: WR 78, Outside Top300
Current Rank: WR 58, Outside Top300

Keldrick Faulk might be a first round pick. But despite his upside, he was left off ESPN’s “Impact Player Graphic” on the Iron Bowl broadcast in favor of Keyron Crawford. Controversial to some, the decision was justified. Crawford’s name was called plenty as he finished with 5 pressures and 3 stops.

He managed to harass opposing passers at least 4 times in 6 games this season. Crawford’s 68 total impact plays are top30 nationally. And in terms of generating pressures specifically, his 15.8% clip is top10 among P4 edges ahead of Championship Weekend.

No. 8: CB Courtland Guillory, Oklahoma

Previous Rank: CB 38, Outside Top300
Current Rank: CB 28, Player No. 239

The 2025 class has had a number of breakout, in-your-face stars. But one of the budding, under-the-radar options is Courtland Guillory. Apart of one of the most formidable defenses ahead of the playoffs, the consensus top50 CB prospect rocks a 77.2 PFF coverage grade, 4.7 yards/target, and has defended 6 passes.

The first-year thrown into the fire has only allowed over 50 yards in a single game this season. Over the last three weeks, he surrender under 25 yards in each contest. Though the field is crowded, his volume and dependability should see him wind up a True Freshman All-American when the time comes.

Blue Chip Shoutout: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami FL

Previous Rank: OT 3, Player No. 21
Current Rank: OT 3, Player No. 17

Francis Mauigoa started this season as an Impact 5-Star, he will finish this season as an Impact 5-Star. Though folks at the next level might kick him inside to guard, he solidified his first-round aspirations grading in the 80’s across the board, per PFF. All were career-bests. And, Mauigoa’s 85.9 overall offensive grade is top5-worthy.

The Hurricanes have been the nation’s best front disallowing pressure. Naturally, their blue chip bookend has been a huge factor in that. Mauigoa’s personal 97.6% Clean Rate on true pass sets is the 4th-best mark in the P4.
