Pac-12 Tournament Day 3: Live Updates

The third day of the Pac-12 Tournament tipped off on Friday night. This will be the semifinal round of the conference’s men’s basketball tournament, with the winners meeting on Saturday for the conference championship game.
Arizona and Arizona State met in the second game of the night. An in-state rivalry game, Arizona entered the game looking to erase the memory of the buzzing-beating loss to the Sun Devils when the two last met. The Wildcats accomplished just that, defeating Arizona State, 78-59, behind a 10-19 shooting effort from behind the arc.
Arizona was paced by Azoulas Tubelis, who led the Wildcats in scoring with 17 points. The 6-foot-11 junior out of Lithuania added nine rebounds and three assists, helping Arizona punch its ticket to the Pac-12 Championship Game, where they will face the UCLA Bruins, who dispatched Oregon, 75-56 earlier in the night’s other semifinal matchup.
The Pac-12 Championship Game is set to tip off at 10:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN.

UCLA 75, Oregon 56
The first game of the day saw No. 4 seed Oregon square off against No. 1 seed UCLA, and the two teams kept it close in the first half. Both defenses showed out early, but the Bruins made three of their last four field goals to ultimately take a 32-30 lead into halftime.
The second half was a different story, though. Even without Adem Bona down the stretch after he suffered an apparent shoulder injury, UCLA outscored Oregon 43-26 after the break to build a sizable lead and seal a championship game appearance with a 75-56 victory. Tyger Campbell led the charge with 28 points, including 20 in the second half. Jaime Jaquez wasn’t far behind him with 18.
