Notre Dame fell in Week 1 at Miami and is coming off a bye. CJ Carr impressed in his debut for the Fighting Irish, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns. It’s a key game for Marcus Freeman’s program as it tries to build a College Football Playoff resume.

For Texas A&M, it’s a shot at revenge from last year. The Aggies are 2-0 to open the season. They’ll have Marcel Reed at quarterback; Conner Weigman started against Notre Dame in 2024. Reed has a revamped wide receiver room to work with that has impressed in the opening weeks.
