The On3 Impact 300 ranks the best players in college football entering the 2022 season, with a full release coming in the next few weeks. Prior to the release of the inaugural list – which also factors into the calculation of the On3 NIL Valuation – On3 has revealed the Top 10 returning interior offensive linemen.

USC standout Andrew Vorhees tops the list, checking in inside the Top 20 of the On3 Impact 300. Having started games at three different positions along the interior, he offers the Trojans serious versatility and experience.

These are the 10 most impactful interior offensive linemen with less than three months until the 2022 season kicks off.

On3 Impact 300’s Top 10 Interior Offensive Linemen

1. Andrew Vorhees, USC

As noted above, Vorhees is quite versatile, having started at right guard, left guard and left tackle in his career. The sixth-year senior has four seasons of starting experience under his belt (37 starts) and carries a current NIL valuation of $510,000.

2. Christian Mahogany, Boston College

A two-year starter for the Eagles, Mahogany will be counted on to anchor a line that must replace a handful of starters. He’s racked up 22 career starts and is one of the top guards in the country, checking in at 6 foot 3, 335 pounds.

3. Caleb Chandler, Louisville

Chandler is one of a few returning starters for the Cardinals, but he’s the definite anchor in the group. He has started 40 straight games at Louisville and earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2021. He passed up an opportunity to enter the NFL Draft to return to Louisville in 2022.

4. Amarius Mims, Georgia

A former five-star prospect, Mims mostly waited behind several other talented veterans for the national champion Bulldogs last season. His potential is apparent, though. At 6 foot 7, 330 pounds, Mims saw playing time in eight games last season. His current NIL valuation is $292,000.

5. O’Cyrus Torrence, Florida

A significant addition to Florida’s offensive line by way of Louisiana through the transfer portal, Torrence will start at right guard for the Gators. He had 36 career starts at Louisiana and will provide valuable scheme knowledge as former Louisiana coach Billy Napier brings his offense over to Florida.

6. Jarrett Patterson, Notre Dame

Patterson opted to return for an additional year with the Fighting Irish, giving them an experienced interior player. Patterson has racked up 34 starts at center at Notre Dame over the past three seasons and has not allowed a sack. His current NIL valuation is $265,000.

7. Joe Tippmann, Wisconsin

A first-year starter at Wisconsin in 2021, Tippmann started every game at center and earned honorable mention from the Big Ten following the season. His current NIL valuation places him just outside the NIL 100 rankings, with Tippmann checking in at No. 107 at $269,000.

8. John Michael Schmitz, Minnesota

Minnesota’s starting center, Schmitz has appeared in 44 career games while starting 23 of them. He has slowly earned more accolades, picking up All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2020 before being named to the Coaches’ All-Big Ten Second Team in 2021.

9. Clark Barrington, BYU

Barrington has been a staple on the BYU offensive line for the last three years, making 33 total appearances in that span. He has good reach at 6 foot 6. Of note, ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper ranks Barrington as the No. 6 guard prospect on his early 2023 NFL Draft board.

10. Jacob Gall, Baylor

Gall is one of the most experienced players on this list, having appeared in 47 career games with 27 starts. He transferred to Baylor from Buffalo prior to the 2021 season, starting all 14 games for the Bears last year. He opted to return for a sixth year in college.
