Tulane transfer cornerback Rayshawn Pleasant has committed to Auburn, defensive back technician specialist Brandon Kim tells On3. He chose the Tigers over USC and Ole Miss.

As a redshirt sophomore in 2024, Pleasant finished the season with 35 tackles, including 27 solos and one tackle for loss. He also had an interception, three pass breakups and recovered a fumble. The cornerback has two years of eligibility remaining.

A rising redshirt junior, Pleasant gives the Tigers a strong multi-year option for Hugh Freeze’s secondary. He developed a relationship with Auburn corners coach Wesley McGriff during his visit. He becomes the fourth transfer defensive back to commit to Auburn this offseason.

Rayshawn Pleasant signed with Tulane in the 2022 class out of West Monroe (La.) High School. He was a three-star recruit, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
