After an upset-filled Week 2 slate of games, the JP Poll underwent major changes. Josh Pate revealed his full updated power ratings – though he says they’re not power rankings – during Tuesday’s edition of Josh Pate’s College Football Show.

There was a big change at the top of the JP Poll this week. Ohio State moved up one spot to No. 1, knocking Texas down to No. 4 after the Longhorns stayed atop the power ratings despite falling to the Buckeyes in Week 1.

There’s sure to be plenty more shuffling as the season goes along, though. Here is Pate’s full Week 3 JP Poll.

1. Ohio State (+1)

Fresh off a dominant victory over Grambling State at The Horseshoe in Week 2, Ohio State finds itself atop the JP Poll. The Buckeyes didn’t leave any room for doubt in the resounding 70-0 victory to move up one spot to No. 1.

All three Buckeyes quarterbacks saw action, led by Julian Sayin, who was impressive once again. He completed 18 of 19 passes for 306 yards and four touchdowns – with the one incompletion coming on an interception – as he fueled the offense.

2. Oregon (+4)

Skyrocketing up to No. 2 in the updated JP Poll, Oregon made quite the statement in Week 2 against Oklahoma State. The Ducks’ offense was firing on all cylinders en route to the 69-3 rout of the Cowboys at Autzen Stadium.

Dante Moore impressed once again before ceding control to Luke Moga early in the third quarter. Moore went 16-of-21 for 266 yards and three touchdowns as Oregon flexed its muscle in a big way, and he said there was a reason for it following Mike Gundy’s comments.

3. Georgia (-)

Staying put at No. 3 in the JP Poll, Georgia had another non-conference tuneup before its SEC opener this week against Tennessee. The Bulldogs took down the Governors 28-6 to set up a huge showdown in Week 3.

Gunner Stockton did most of his work with his arm last time out, going 26 of 34 for 227 yards in the effort. Nate Frazier and Chauncey Bowens also led the ground game with two rushing touchdowns apiece.

4. Texas (-3)

Dropping out of the No. 1 spot, Texas is now down at No. 4 in the Week 3 JP Poll. The Longhorns bounced back well from their Week 1 loss to Ohio State, though, and Arch Manning turned in a strong performance.

Manning went 19 of 30 for 295 yards and four touchdowns as Texas got the 38-7 victory over the Spartans. The Longhorns will now have another non-conference matchup coming this week as in-state UTEP comes to Austin, and they’ll look to claw their way back up the power ratings.

5. Penn State (-1)

Despite another resounding non-conference win, Penn State fell to No. 5 in the latest JP Poll. The Nittany Lions cruised past FIU last time out, although they had to shake off a sluggish start to do so.

Penn State took a 10-0 lead into halftime before kicking things into gear in the second half. Drew Allar had 200 passing yards and a touchdown while Kaytron Allen had 144 yards on the ground, including a 67-yard touchdown run to lead the rushing attack.

6. Notre Dame (+1)

Following a loss to Miami, Notre Dame will now get ready for another marquee matchup this week against Texas A&M. The Fighting Irish are also moving up in the JP Poll, now one spot higher than last week at No. 6.

Notre Dame took down Texas A&M at Kyle Field a year ago, and Saturday’s game will be the return matchup in the agreement. It will get the primetime treatment, as well, with a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff from South Bend.

7. Miami (+4)

After defeating Notre Dame in the season opener, Miami continues its rise up the JP Poll. The Hurricanes are now No. 7 after a blowout victory over Bethune-Cookman in Week 2.

Miami’s offense was impressive in Week 2 as Carson Beck threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns while Mark Fletcher ran for 86 yards and two scores on the ground. A suddenly intriguing matchup awaits in Week 3, though, as USF – fresh off upset wins over Boise State and at Florida – will come to Coral Gables.

8. Oklahoma (+2)

The highlight of Week 2’s primetime slate, Oklahoma delivered. The Sooners took down Michigan in the matchup and now find themselves squarely in the Top 10 of the JP Poll.

John Mateer had a huge performance to lead the charge for OU. He had 270 passing yards and a touchdown while leading the running game with 74 yards and two touchdowns on the ground to help seal a notable win for Brent Venables.

9. Alabama (+3)

Back in the Top 10, Alabama got back on track in a big way in Week 2 following an upset loss to Florida State. The Crimson Tide dominated UL-Monroe at Bryant-Denny Stadium, coming away with the 73-0 victory.

Ty Simpson was perfect on the day, going 17-for-17 for 226 yards and three touchdowns. In fact, all three Alabama quarterbacks threw touchdowns as Austin Mack and Keelon Russell had two apiece in the resounding win.

10. LSU (-5)

Fresh off a huge win over Clemson, LSU struggled more than fans thought in Week 2 against Louisiana Tech. The Tigers got the 23-7 victory, but it was an up-and-down day for the offense through the first half.

Still, Garrett Nussmeier threw for 237 yards and a touchdown and Caden Durham ran in a score on the ground. LSU will open SEC play this week, though, welcoming Florida to Death Valley for a primetime showdown.

Week 3 JP Poll: 11-20

11. USC (+5)
12. Texas A&M (+1)
13. Ole Miss (+4)
14. Tennessee (+1)
15. Clemson (-6)
16. Utah (-2)
17. Florida State (+3)
18. Auburn (NR)
19. Missouri (NR)
20. Indiana (NR)

Week 3’s JP Poll saw a major shakeup after an action-packed Week 2. There are more matchups on tap this week, meaning there could be even more shifting down the road.
