Ohio State four-star safety commit Blaine Bradford modeled for Under Armour, according to Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman. He starred in a promo for the brand’s Halo Racer sneaker.

Bradford is one of the top recruits in the country from the 2026 cycle. A product of Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic, he is a four-star prospect and the No. 56 overall player from the class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Bradford was back in Columbus this past weekend for a visit as Ohio State took on UCLA in primetime, as Spiegelman detailed Monday. It marked his second trip this season and his fifth since committing to the Buckeyes in March.

Bradford is a key part of Ohio State’s highly rated recruiting class with National Signing Day approaching. Following his commitment to the Buckeyes in March, he told Steve Wiltfong why the program was the choice for him.

“Just coming down here and feeling how bad they really wanted me here,” Bradford said shortly after going public with his commitment. “Being able to talk to a lot of the players, get in contact with them, feeling the vibe, feeling the culture it’s not like anywhere else in the country.”

As a whole, Ohio State’s 2026 recruiting class ranks No. 6 in the country, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Ranking. The headliner is five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., who checks in as the No. 14 recruit in the nation, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Blaine Bradford is the second-highest rated player in the group. He also leads a strong crew of defensive back commits for the Buckeyes, which includes recent flip Jay Timmons.

“Ohio State has not made any mistakes,” Bradford’s father told Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman in August. “Blaine is a 17-year-old kid with the pressure of Death Valley hovering over him. Blaine will have the final say so as we navigate this space. As of today he is a Buckeye.”
