With the 2024 NFL Draft in the past after last weekend, ESPN’s Jordan Reid has turned his attention to 2025’s iteration, with his latest mock draft.

There’s no sure-fire top selection like there was this past season with Caleb Williams, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t immense talent throughout. Of course, many prospects will begin to separate themselves throughout the upcoming college football season, but this is based off where we stand at the moment.

There’s a litany of teams that need quarterbacks, and it’s going to be a class that takes some time to develop. Still, Reid has one going first overall. Check out his full mock draft for 2025 below.

1. New York Giants (via mock trade with CAR): Carson Beck, QB – Georgia

There’s our first quarterback of the draft and it’s quite hard to tell how this class will pan out. The 2024 class had a lot of buzz, but Beck headlines this one, and he goes to the New York Giants after a trade for the first overall pick, as they look for a restart.

Once he stepped in as the starter, Beck was solid. If he wins a national title this coming season, he’ll certainly boost his stock. He threw for nearly 4,000 yards last season with 24 touchdowns. He can get better.

2. Washington Commanders: Mykel Williams, EDGE – Georgia

Williams is looking to be the next in a long line of Georgia defenders to become a premium selection during the 2025 NFL Draft. With all of his intangibles, the Bulldogs star will have his chance.

He’s had 4.5 sacks in both of the last two seasons. If he can rise above and get to double-digits, the top five, or at least the top ten, is more than within his grasps.

3. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT – LSU

Campbell is one of the best offensive linemen in college football. He might just be No. 1 this coming season, with another campaign of protecting the Tigers’ quarterback under his belt.

The New England Patriots just selected Drake Maye this past draft and are starting to rebuild the offense. You might as well get a franchise tackle to protect said franchise quarterback, and that’s what Reid has them doing.

4. Carolina Panthers (via mock trade with NYG): James Pearce Jr., EDGE – Tennessee

Pearce is the hot name for many ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. In this way too early look to next year, the Tennessee star goes at No. 4 to the Carolina Panthers.

Pearce logged 28 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in 2023. That was after a year of development as a freshman and PFF expects him to make huge leaps in Year 3.

5. Las Vegas Raiders (via mock trade with TEN): Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado

Sanders is arguably the biggest name in next year’s NFL Draft and the most polarizing right now, due to father Deion. Shedeur lit it up last season despite being battered.

He can make the argument that he’s the best quarterback in this class. But a second year in Boulder will determine everything. Sanders will have to prove 2024 wasn’t a fluke.

6. Denver Broncos: Kelvin Banks, OT – Texas

Banks has 27 starts under his belt and was on the All-Big 12 First Team in 2023. He was also a Joe Moore Award semifinalist last season.

Safe to say, Banks is quite the talent at offensive tackle. He’ll compete with Campbell for the top billing, but expect him to be in top 10 territory.

7. Arizona Cardinals: Will Johnson, CB – Michigan

The top corner in the draft could go in the top five of the draft next season, but here he’s No. 7. Michigan’s defense produced a lot in 2024 and will do the same next spring.

In his second season, Johnson logged 27 total tackles and four interceptions, to go along with a touchdown. He has seven picks in two years.

8. Minnesota Vikings: Mason Graham, DT – Michigan

In two years at Michigan, Graham’s been a force on the defensive line. He logged 7.5 tackles for loss and three sacks last year helping the Wolverines win it all.

He’s projected to go quite high in next year’s draft. He’ll arguably be the best player on Michigan’s defense, along with the prior selection in this mock.

9. New Orleans Saints: Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State

Many believe Abdul Carter is on the same level of Micah Parsons. If the Dallas Cowboys star is your comparison right now, that’s a damn good place to be for Carter ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

It’ll be up to Tom Allen, the new Penn State defensive coordinator, to use Carter to his strengths. If he does, this may be too low for Carter in 2025.

10. Tennessee Titans (via mock trade with LV): Luther Burden III, WR – Missouri

The consensus top wide receiver at the moment is Luther Burden III. He’s helped transform Missouri’s offense, and turn them into a sleeper team entering this coming season.

He possesses all the tools to become a top wide receiver at the NFL level. He’ll have his swan song with the Tigers, and then look to bring that moxie to the NFL in 2025.

Jordan Reid’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft — 11-32:

11. Seattle Seahawks: Travis Hunter, CB/WR – Colorado
12. Pittsburgh Steelers: Quinn Ewers, QB – Texas
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Benjamin Morrison, CB – Notre Dame
14. Indianapolis Colts: Malaki Starks, S – Georgia
15. Chicago Bears: Patrick Payton, EDGE – Florida State
16. Los Angeles Rams: Tetairoa McMillan, WR – Arizona
17. Jacksonville Jaguars: Denzel Burke, CB – Ohio State
18. Cleveland Browns: Emery Jones Jr, OT – LSU
19. Los Angeles Rams: Deone Walker, DL – Kentucky
20. Atlanta Falcons: Nic Scourton, EDGE – Texas A&M
21. New York Jets: Emeka Egbuka, WR – Ohio State
22. Miami Dolphins: Colston Loveland, TE – Michigan
23. Green Bay Packers: JT Tuimoloau, EDGE – Ohio State
24. Houston Texans: Harold Perkins Jr, LB – LSU
25. Philadelphia Eagles: Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE – Penn State
26. Dallas Cowboys: Evan Stewart, WR – Oregon
27. Buffalo Bills: Isaiah Bond, WR – Texas
28. Cincinnati Bengals: Tyler Booker, G – Alabama
29. Detroit Lions: Ashton Gillotte, EDGE – Louisville
30. Baltimore Ravens: Landon Jackson, EDGE – Arkansas
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Kenneth Grant, DL – Michigan
32. San Francisco 49ers: Walter Nolen, DT – Ole Miss

As you can tell, even if it’s early, we have an idea of how the 2025 NFL Draft could shake out. The quarterbacks are the biggest question marks, but Jordan Reid still put three in his first round. We’ll see where the NFL turns when the time comes though.
