Chris Henry Jr. is part of one of the most athletic families in America. Henry is the son of the late former NFL wide receiver Chris Henry of the Cincinnati Bengals. Henry's family also includes Seini Hicks, one of the top girl's basketball players in the Class of 2024. Younger brother DeMarcus Henry is considered one of the top basketball recruits in the Class of 2027. Henry transferred to Santa Ana (California) Mater Dei in February 2024. During the 2023 football season at Cincinnati Withrow, he was an all-state selection after racking up 1,127 yards and 10 touchdowns on 71 receptions in 14 games. Henry has developed a close friendship with NFL star receiver Tee Higgins, and he credits his tutelage as part of his development. “Not a lot of kids would be able to have these types of resources,” Henry said. “It is really good, it keeps me ahead of the game and to learn more from them because they have already been through the type of situations, and they succeeded there. It just helps me a lot.”
