Chanhassen (Minn.) three-star tight end Kade Bush announced on Tuesday evening that he has decommitted from Arkansas.

Pledged to the Razorbacks since March 27, Bush is now putting his name back on the board a few weeks after the SEC program fired head coach Sam Pittman.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder announced his decision on social media:

“I’ve made the difficult decision to decommit from Arkansas. Thank you Coach Turner for believing in me. I am forever grateful to you, Coach Pittman, Coach Petrino, and the entire staff in Fayetteville,” Bush wrote.

Bush is the No. 1,027 overall prospect and No. 68 TE in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 6 recruit in Minnesota.

Kansas State and Washington State were among Bush’s other offers when he committed to Arkansas this spring. Earlier this month, he added an offer from West Virginia.

Hogs lose another 2026 commitment

Since parting ways with Pittman, Arkansas has seen plenty of prospects decommit this fall. With Bush no longer in the fold, the Hogs are now down to 14 total commits and have a class that ranks No. 56 nationally, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. That’s last in the SEC.

Two industry four-stars remain in the fold for interim head coach Bobby Petrino and Co.: Bentonville (Ark.) wide receiver Dequane Prevo and Durant (Okla.) EDGE Colton Yarbrough. Both are top-400 recruits.

There’s still a wave of defensive backs in the class, too. Behind Prevo and Yarbrough, the next six highest-ranked commits in the mix are cornerbacks or safeties. That includes Lancaster (Texas) three-star CB Victor Lincoln, Muscle Shoals (Ala.) three-star safety Keivay Foster and Conway (Ark.) three-star safety Tay Lockett.

Other commits still in the class include: Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point three-star WR Robert Haynes, his Ridge Point teammate and three-star interior offensive lineman Hugh Smith, Hot Springs (Ark.) Lakeside three-star IOL Tucker Young, Chaminade-Madonna (Fla.) three-star offensive tackle Ashley Walker, Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian three-star defensive lineman Ashton Dawson and Bentonville (Ark.) three-star WR Blair Irvin.
