Boulder (Colo.) Fairview athlete Toray Davis has re-scheduled his official visit to Texas.

For the third time this cycle, Davis had to re-schedule his official trip to Texas but he’s now slated to be in Austin weekend when the Longhorns Texas A&M.

Davis was originally set to visit Texas back November 1 when the Horns hosted Vanderbilt but he had to move it due to his game schedule. He was then set to visit this past weekend but his playoff game was moved from Friday to Saturday.

“I would have flown out Saturday night if we won our game but I’m going to this coming weekend now,” Davis said. “I’m excited to visit, I have a lot of interest in Texas so it will be good to finally get out there.”

Davis committed to UCLA back in June and despite the firing of former head coach DeShaun Foster, the two way standout said he remains committed to the Bruins.

“I’m still committed, I never backed off,” Davis said. “It’s tough not knowing the coaching situation right now so that’s why I’m taking some visits, I have to keep my options open.”

Davis also visited Washington and Wisconsin back in October and could still take another visit to UCLA but with Signing Day just a week away, that might be hard to do.

Davis is having a monster senior year and is one of the best two-way athletes in the country. He was recently bumped up to four-star status and the No. 150 player nationally in the recent Rivals update.

He’s also a four-star and the No. 372 player nationally in the Rivals Industry Ranking. Davis is being recruited primarily at safety but has put up big numbers at running back and receiver.

In 10 regular season games, he rushed for 525 yards and 22 touchdowns, averaging over nine yards a carry. He has 53 catches for 1,214 yards and 13 more scores plus 46 tackles and five interceptions from his safety position.
