Duke has had a couple of rough games in the past two weeks.

Through that, the Blue Devils remain a relatively healthy football team.

The availability report published by the ACC on Thursday night lists only six players from Duke who will not play Saturday against N.C. State.

Most notable — though not surprising — is safety Terry Moore. One of Duke’s best players in a secondary that has struggled without him, Moore is still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in last year’s Gator Bowl.

Linebacker Memorable Factor is also recovering from an injury suffered last season. The other four Blue Devils who will miss this game are offensive linemen — Micah Sahakian, Jamin Brown, Evan Scott and Nathan Kutufaris.

By comparison, N.C. State has 14 players on its list. Syracuse plays at Clemson this weekend; the Orange lists 15 players out, six as questionable  and five as probable. The Tigers have 12 players out and another four as probable.

The ACC announced in July that availability reports would be mandatory for league games in football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball. The report will be updated Friday night, also at 8 p.m., and two hours before kickoff (which means 2 p.m. Saturday for N.C. State-Duke).

N.C. State availability report

Things were cut and dried with N.C. State’s availability report last week.

It’s almost the same this week.

Of the Wolfpack’s 14 players listed, 13 are out. The one who isn’t, wide receiver Wesley Grimes, is listed as probable. One of the players listed out, defensive end Sabastian Harsh, is listed because he’ll miss the first half in Durham after a targeting penalty in the second half last week.

The availability report published last Tuesday was the first for the league, since N.C. State played at Wake Forest last Thursday night.
